two videos 3 finalists in 2 conventions

Just found out that Frankin von Stein is a finalist in the comedy category of Anime Milwaukee. Unfortunately Shut up and ride is not which is weird considering that both videos were finalists in Ikkicon VI. So I don't really know what the amv viewer community's tastes are in amv's at conventions. I mean Shut up and ride placed second at Ikkicon which I think is good, but the fact that it didn't make it into Anime Milwaukee is interesting. So I guess I will tweak it some more and get it ready for the ultimate goal that both of these videos are shooting for.
There are a few more conventions coming up, unfortunately there screening date occur after the ultimate goal's deadline, so I won't know for sure till after the fact.
So for now lets see how Frankin von Stein does and let's go from there -
First stepts in the right direction

Today was very productive. After finishing a freelance project that has been long over due, I got some very positive feed back from some very talented people, regarding two of my recent video uploads. My hopes are continued to be held high as new ideas have come to me regarding some very interesting concepts and very unique film ideas. I just hope that the snowball effect ( and I use the term snow ball effect due to the fact that a decent amount of snow has hit my area) will occur and I will continue to progress in 2012.
Also a shout out to all those who watched and reviewed my two videos Shut up and Ride and Professor Frankin von Stein. I thank you for your opinions and I am very happy that you found them enjoyable. And I hope that anyone you tell about them will also enjoy them too
Thanks!!!! - A new year, a fresh start and a resolution 2012-01-19 22:25:14 This year is going to be a much different, much more productive. I plan to edit a lot more videos, give a lot more opinions and well just be more active on the amv.org website. I just posted two new videos that I finished right before the year changed and now I am shopping around for fresh new ideas. I hope that this year I will finally be able to win an award of some kind at some amv contest at some anime convention. I really am going to put my best foot forward and really strive to be active in the amv editing community, to improve my amv editing and well just keep my head held high and push through any difficult challenge that my come my way. In closing this will be the first of many journal entries to come and I will try to provide insight and my thoughts to any who tend to read. Here's to a new year.
