I know, it's been over six or so months since my last post. Been really busy in that time, lemme tell ya. Had to reformat my computer a number of times and I finally got it right this time. So, my computer is freshly reprogramed and ready to have software and advanced codecs and all that other crap uploaded into my rather empty hard drive. Now, to get LEGAL copies of the software and codecs I need...
This one's short, I'm trying to rope a friend into taking me out for breakfast. Keep coming back for more. -

Thats right, Ladies and Gentlemen. My computer caught a raging case of the tard and will not really work now for AMV editting. Until I get the money to buy or build a new, faster system, expect no AMVs from me in any amount of time. It just ain't gonna happen folks.
Other news: Well, as a few of the local AMV creators in my city well know already, I am moving either real soon, or some time closer to July. So, any and all projects or plans I had for making AMVs have been cancelled or postponed for the time being until I get things settled and figured out. Expect more on this subject as details are presented.
My current mood: Blagh. Life is running me gray. And I'm only 18.

- Ok, so I lied...sue me. 2003-10-03 16:16:24 Aight, so i lied, my vid isn't gonna be done anytime soon, seeing as I suddenly have no real interest in working on it right now, no to mention the fact that most of next week I'm not gonna be home to work on it. So, expect the premiere date to be pushed back about another two to three weeks. I'm sure I'll finally force myself to get working and get it up soon, but that's gonna take a while. I might have to give up my promise of quitting smoking until after this vid is finished. And If Steal bitches, I'm gonna poke him in the eye with a hot cigarette. Well, I'm pretty sure I'm done blathering for today, keep checking back for more updates and news and shit like that. Oh, yeah. If any y'all are goin' to AX2004, look for Steal, MajinAssassin, and myself to be there. Looking forward to meeting a few more AMV creators. Anyway, I'm out.
- Yeah, it's a bit like that... 2003-09-29 13:05:44 Well, after a few days of working out timing problems and other such things, I have roughly a third of my vid complete. Now I can get a better feel for what needs to be done and how to do it. Not that I really enjoy using Premiere, seeing as it really enjoys fucking with me and scaring me by lossing the rest of my vid file, then randomly respawning it back in the same place it was before. There are times I could kill my tower, if only it weren't for the fact of the nearly 800 dollar price tag tacked onto the side of this thing. But, there are times when letting go of the mouse and stepping away from the computer are really hard. Like at three am, when I should be sleeping. I remember seeing a banner, only once, it has yet to cycle back up, that gave me a rather good idea of what you much better creators go thru. And what I'm willingly going thru to learn how to create. I could do without the arguements over the timing of my vid, granted, I suppose i should listen to my teachers, but sometimes, they can screw off. Well, I'm gonna go ahead and wrap this on up. Expect the vid sometime in the next two weeks. And I hope all of you enjoy it.
- Suffering sucks 2003-09-26 14:53:47 Now, I can finally understand what it's like to have Premiere crash and lose all your unsaved work. Yesterday, Premiere and I had a love/hate relationship going on. When it worked and did what I wanted it to do, I loved it. When it would freeze up, like it did a whole lot, I would hate it until it started working again. And after four total software meltdowns in the space of 20 minutes, I was mashing my face into my keyboard and swearing more creativly and louder then most sailors. I was forced to shut Premiere down for a little while, lest my still fairly new computer die a horrible death before its time. (When the sight of your pretty katana gets you thinking how easy it would be to slice your tower in half, it's time to quit for a little while and go do something else. Like sleep. Or chain smoke like me.) So, after much swearing again today (My bitrate crashed and I had another software meltdown) I'm back at the helm, my hand calloused and sore from trying to break my tower in half. Thankfully, my tower is fine. And my hands will recover. And on a happier note, my First AMV is progressing nicely. I should have it done sometime in the next month or two, so keep checking up for new updates.
