Holidays are nearly over now (go back on mon, its fri now). Spent the first week or so in wellington and palmerston north (7 1/2 hrs from alknd to palmy, 1 1/2 from palmy to welly). Saw a couple of friends there, went to tepapa museum (hasnt changed much, but the birds in flight section was cool). Also got my eyes checked by my cousin (and my eyes have gotten worse. She also couldnt fix the broken piece on my glasses, so i now need new contacts and glasses). In palmerston (on the way back), just went to grandad's 80th. had to say a couple of words in front of the relly's and other people there (I don't even understand a lot of them tho, and I'm sure they couldn't understand me...Even grandad couldn't understand me and I was speaking at his bday!).
This week, i've spent just doing things (a couple of which I meant to do 3 months ago) and watching Happy Lesson Advance (nice), Full Metal Panic (more serious than fumoffu). My aunty got me FMP from singapore, with the help of my cousins friend there (thank you to you both). I've also been capturing Jackass, megaman and Spongebob on tv. One of the jobs I did was to install a new aerial splitter so thet i can hook up the tv tuner to the aerial (and hopefully get better captures). All i have to do is hook the new splitter to the comp and were away (I was reluctant to cut holes in the wall, so dad will do it).
That's all i really wanna talk about now. -
The holidays have begun

School finished today for the term (I only realised that tomorrow was good friday this morning when dad told me - pretty shocking since I'm a christian). I plan to stay up very late tonight watching happy lesson advance and fullmetal alchemist (I finished watching Full Metal Panic fumoffu - my fav anime). I have work on saturday and then it's off to wellington and palmerston on sunday (for a whole week). I dont know how I'm going to capture megaman, jackass, and all the other shows I normally capture from tv while I'm away, maybe I'll record them and spend a day at home capturing them (my collection is growing really fast).
I also plan to make a very short music video when I come back from wellington (that gives me 1 week to work on it without school). Btw, 6th form kinda sucks. - 4th amv done. 2004-03-20 05:44:25 I have now completed and uploaded my 4th amv (Urban Getaway). Encoding it was a hassle (I had audio problems), but it's finally done. I'll go into more detail on it possibly at a later date, but it's 11:43 pm here and I'm gonna sleep (and tend to my blisters I got from shifting my ass into overdrive at a karate training session I did today). That's all for now cos I'm tired.

I finished dling Happy Lesson Advance (eps 1-13) on thurs. I've watched 3 eps of it, and it is funny (although the girls look really young to be teachers, or even mothers for Chidori). So now I have quite a few anime eps to watch (if u include the stuff I got from Daniel). I'll make an amv with the eps when I get a chance.
In other news, i had a maths internal assessment on thurs and fri (all 6th formers who do maths had it). The only problem is that I didn't measure the 2 centre lines of the shape (which was 3 triangles put together)- and so I couldn't do the work! I went back thurs afterschool while no one was looking to get the measurements, and got the rest of the test done, but the work done on thurs is completely wrong (and I may fail it because of that). I hope I dont fail (I've never failed anything in maths before, well, anything that counted).

When I found out that the guy that sits next to me in electronics class (Daniel) was an anime fan like me (and that he dls heaps of fansubs released by Anime-Keep), I did an anime trade with him. I had the naruto eps burned to cds for him, but he didnt get around to full metal alchemist nor full metal panic fumofuu eps, so I asked him everyday for about 1 1/2 weeks. He's finally done the alchemist eps (1-16) and the panic fumofuu eps (1-15 + 2 bonus) eps as well as voices from a distant star. I'll give him his naruto eps on mon, and burn him happy lesson advanced eps 1-12 when i dl them. I also plan to ask him to trade full metal panic eps and chrno crusade eps for something (depending on what he wants).
Anyway, panic fumofuu is really funny (The 1st 3 eps r anyway - me and my sister have been watching them) and alchemist is cool (only seens 1 ep tho).
I'm aiming to get my next amv up within a couple of weeks (again to Love Hina), and I've also captured 28 eps of Spongebob Squarepants. I'll make amv's using the anime I just got sometime.
