- these days 2003-05-20 18:06:37 ACEN is over. (It was great by the way.) Now I am ready to do my next video for next year. I have a plan. I have a song. I have the dvd footage. BUT THIS FRIGGIN AVS FILE AIN'T WORKING IN PREMIERE!!!!!! How frustrating. However, it is working in virtual dub so I have to be doing something right. I wonder if my version is too old. I have 6.0 but i don't think that is it. It is like it is not reading it. I will play around with it before I get help though. I haven't crossed the phase of throwing my monitor out of the window yet so I will work with this. It is only a matter of time.
- hm... 2003-05-11 12:37:59 i think i might put my stupid crazy video on streamload this summer since i can't really use streamload due to sucky home connection. it's only 1 MB or so. not too big but it is a crappy video. i dont' even think it is in avi format. another project from the movie maker but it did teach me animation and the begining of transitions so i can't hate on it at all. things to do....*sigh*
- I got my idea!!!!!!! 2003-05-08 14:49:52 For the past 2 days I have been going crazy. My next video will be a fruits basket video. I will need that last dvd to complete it but it is already on preorder. So far I am in the planning stage. For about 90% of the video I have an idea of what footage to put during the lyrics. I already have a concept of opening it too. (I just have to find that buttion in premiere. I think I will experiment with small clips to see what kind of things I can do.) I have the perfect song cause no one (at least here) has used it. Hopefully the concept will be a little bit original because of the type of music being played with it. Who knows though...I will have to see. I can't wait until ACEN because I am definately going to the AMV workshop. I get to see how to do things but I want to try out stuff now so I know what to ask when I get there. LALALALALA! ^_^
- UUUUUUGH! 2003-05-06 10:54:42 It is very hard thinking of a new concept for a video. I am scouting around and stuff, listening to my cds and the radio while thinking about my dvd collection. I have an idea about an Utena AMV but I see that there are a lot of people that have done Utena AMVs. Sure it doesn't compare to the millions that have done something DB related but still....I am more concerened that I have not finished the series yet. I am watching it blindly with the dvd shipments. Ther emight be tons of footage that I would need to use but it won't be available. The dvds aren't going to finish by this year which is what I wanted so I could begin the creation phase of the project. Now I could make a compilation since I have enough dvds to do that but to what song? What kind of mood will it be? Then there is Tenchi and Cardcaptor Sakura. I would have to check how many videos have been done with this because I have a lot of dvds of these series/movies. As far as footage it would be the wisest choice. Then there is Fruits Basket. I will have that whole show within weeks but what the heck could I do with it. @_@ OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY!!!!
- The Good and The Bad 2003-05-03 21:37:54 I understand now why capture is so important to a video. I submitted my video for a local anime club. The conest was today and I finally saw the results on a big screen. The good news is that I must have did a decent job with content and and some of the editing/timing cause I got third place. The bad thing was that the footage really sucked. It makes a big difference looking at a computer on full screen and a projection. I can now see the difference in a raw downloaded file (even if it was big in size) footage versus a dvd rip footage. I can even see some of the bad quality on the computer now. Seeing what I saw, I dont' think I will have a chance to actually get into the contest portion for ACEN. That footage was too bad...unless it was the conection in the room I saw it in but I seriously doubt that. This makes me want to do better now. I have to. I want to!
