I got the job
2003-06-17 23:39:52
That is going to kill my time on working on videos significantly. Only good thing is that it is not everyday. It's with the Cubs schedule. I just don't know when I will get out. I could use some of the paycheck to get better eqipment though. That would be nice. As of right now I am leaning towards the Utena movie for the next video. I have to check the usage of the song though. If it is overused I might save that one for later after it dies down a bit.

Possible Job
2003-06-16 14:11:25
I am real close to getting a job this summer. I gotta check them out tomorrow. If I get this job that means that I will not be able to spend as much time as I wanted planning the next video. The good side is that I will be able to get all the dvd footage that I can on the next video. I think I might wait until the show is over to see all of my options. The dvd quality is kind of sucky though. It would look better if I use the movie but there is so much I need to know about the show. Hmmmmmmm.......

It is finished!

The video is now uploaded. This is a big relief. Now I can officially chill out and not worry about anything. YAY!

It's finally done.
2003-06-14 11:03:37
My new video is done. I really noticed the difference between my first real anime video and this one. The quality alone just blew me away. Still a rookie but I am learning the ropes. Hopefully I will get to my sister's house and upload the video soon since she has the faster internet. 60 MB on a 56k ain't gonna cut it.
Thanks everyone who helped me with some of the technical stuff on the video...I know I was a pain but thank you for putting up with me.
Now....I have nothing to do. I think I will relax before I start to work on my next video. I still have ideas in my head though. I think I found that my element is in storytelling AMVs. I wouldn't mind making a fun one though. Maybe in the future I'll do one when I learn how to do some of the effects. :)

I will lose quality
2003-06-13 17:25:54
Everytime I export with premiere I keep losing quality. Time to post the situation in the forums. I have a feeling that the mpg that I somehow got will be the one I will have to submit but a lot of the quality got lost. I have my Microsoft DV export that was 900 MB and it turned out great but it's too big. Luckily when it's zipped it's only 600 something MB. So that will be my good copy. I am pissed I lose quality though on the other exports and stuff. >_< Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy? Oh well...it happens.
