- frig! 2003-07-08 13:11:09 it looks like i am done with the video but there are problems with the mpeg. if i use mpeg1 the sound is fine but the video quality really sucks. if i use mpeg2 the video quality is great but the sound sucks. i am going to have to look through the guides and the forums to see what i can do now. as far as the amv, i don't think it's the best but it isn't the worst either. if i ever put it up i'll have to say don't take the story literally cause i did flip it. man.......
- the new utena amv 2003-07-07 13:49:50 man...i must have gone out of my mind but the video is almost complete. i had a major setback yesterday but i think i finally got over it. >_< stupid instrumentals. anyway, i am on the last verse. the only thing that is concerning me now is the last instrumental part. i am wondering if i can edit the song and cut it out. that would be nice since footage is a bit short since i refused to use two scenes that are used a lot. i guess that is part of the challenge. i gotta learn how to do transparencies cause the thing i am doing now will only get me so far. i'm not in a rush though. i'll learn it eventually. i think after this i am going to watch some AMVs done by others and myself. i have to relax ya know. i'll probably update the journal tomorrow. hopefully it will say i'm done with the first trial run of this.

okay the people at work are jerks and i am unemployed. yay....-_-****
so what does that mean for this gumba? spend more time on my AMV. i have no clue how this is going to turn out. it's kind of disappointing right now. i don't know what is going to happen to it. well i will finish it to see how the rest of the ideas go. i don't know. i'd be surprized if it beats my first video....storywise. i guess this is what happens when you have two video ideas at once. i should have done this one first. i think i would have felt better but nooooooooooooooooo i had to do the other first. then again i had more drive to do the other. this is just a project that will keep me enterained for awhile i guess. what a shame. i'll still post it up here when it is done. if anyone watches it.....don't expect much. -_- - progress 2003-07-04 20:25:26 just a little update even though i'm just reminding myself...i am working on the avi clips now. avs is still screwed up in premiere so i have to make clips of the scenes i need. this time i will deinterlace first. i hope it will save me a lot of trouble and time. i want to do this but i don't know i have a feeling my second video will still be the best of the three. anyway, i am still going to stay away from a lot of big effects. it's more important to me to get the story and my message across than to make something too flashy. that's all for now. i'm really tired from work. 9 more days to go before another vacation.
- It has been decided 2003-06-30 13:31:21 I will use the Utena movie for my next video. I can't see anything else being used with the song I want. I tried going over the Utena TV episodes but it just didn't flow well with me. I have already wrote down possible scenes I could use after watching the movie again. I have some scenes that I will avoid. I refuse to use them. Now I am in the process of choosing which scenes should go where. Some I know for sure where they are going. Others I don't know. I also have to figure out whether to eliminate the instrumentatl parts or keep them all in. It is a short song already. That's a hard decision. With me not during certain parts I lose filler. That I think is good in the long run and will create a challenge for me. I am going to check today how the song usage is here. Hopefully it is still very low. That would be nice. I hope I can be done with planning before I go back to work. It will be a 10 day stretch of work followed by another week off. If I finish the planning and possibly ripping this week I can start the video in 2 weeks. It's a plan. YAY!
