Finally finished my shopping for class. I think I am done at least.
As far as the new video, I will hold off and wait on that until I get some feedback. I might have to change some things around. Still I'm not too happy with that one. It should have been better. This is why I need the feedback. -

I have mixed feelings about this new video of mine. I managed to keep a story in there but I don't know if the experiment turned out too well. I really didn't use too many different techniques to enhance the video. Anything else seemed a little out of place or too over the top. Because I didn't do much I feel as if I am not learning things that I should at least know how to do. I doubt if it will do as good as the RLf video but I think it should be better than FY. It might pass up GoS but I don't know. It depends if people like the techie stuff I did. Who knows. There is still so much to learn.
On a side note, FLCL is now done on CN. I am still lost but not as much as the first time. I need the dvds so I can get the commentary. >< It might cost more than I want to pay though.
On another side note, Big O season 1 box set will be coming out. That pisses me off a little bit cause I got the first dvd. I will still get it though but I gotta save a hell of a lot of money. Especially since I want that Sailor Moon season 2 box set. (Still waiting to get the first one....out of stock bastards....*ahem*)
On the last side note, I got some more videos to watch so I just might be leaving opinions on what I have seen. I noticed that I have done some DLs before the local DL's were open so I plan on doing some opinions on those videos I still have. Surprizingly I was quite the leecher back then. Shame on me. :P This will keep me busy until school starts hopefully. That's great news. I need to be distracted. -
Experiment #2 is almost done

I have about 20 to 30 more seconds left in the new video. I had to redo somethings. At first I was going to have a constant transparency on during the middle section of the video but it looked TACKY so I decided to take it out of majority of it. Hopefully it still looks like she is having a flashback because it is intended that way. Some of the beats are complicated and interfere with the song a little bit. This would require multiple viewings before people can see all what was done in it. I still haven't went all out of special effects because I just couldn't see a place for them in there. It makes me wonder how others can put in all those effects and still have a video that is not too chaotic and that are actually pretty good. Still I can't tear away from my little transitions. I hope it does not burn me in the long run.
Good job Mr. CK on making it on the useful list. People are gonna start stalking you soon. LOL hehehehe - Experiment time number 2! 2003-08-09 12:48:15 I had the sudden urge to experiment once again with some of premiere's features. If I put it up here I know it will lack in originality and the story would probably suck. I am trying to keep the story but I don't know if I'll be able to keep it. It's not that I don't have any plan with the video but it is very open. I'm trying not to stick random scenes in there but because of the order of things it might look like I am not making many cuts. This is where the experimenting comes in. I'm trying different change ups like speed or course and I used strobe for the first time. (I wish I would have known how to do that cause I would have used it in my FB video instead of making those time absorbing cuts.) I also experimented with an invert. This would be the second time I used transparencies. If all goes well I can be done with the first run by today. It is a short song. Longer than my Big Test video but short. Now I have no idea what to write. Oh yeah the other project in my head. I'm starting to get ideas. If this works with the help of CK it might be nice. It's in its fetal stages now. It'll be awhile before that project moves along. I guess that is all for now. Signing off. WOO HA!

Back at the sis house

I'm here once again at my sisters house. That means I owe people some opinions. I will have then ready by tomorrow if you are reading this out there. I am downloading the videos tonight.
Meanwhile on the creative front...I got an idea for a little project but if all goes well I won't be doing it alone. I'll have to see if things work out and start planning if possible. Yay! Who knows if it will ever get finished though. It would be nice though. I'll keep you posted.
