- 2004-01-12 23:06:43 forget a title. today i have decided to make some "adjustments" to the song. it's just too long. i have the feeling i will have to get more footage too. i find myself in a stretch to find clips that would fit. then this is a difficult song to put anime to. it can be done but i don't want to just throw clips in there. i want it to have some meaning. on the other hand it is a fun video so some randomness might be necessary. i've also noticed that i have a limit to editing. when i need to stop i have to otherwise i do a half assed job at what i am creating. i will probably have to go back and change some scenes after it is done to see if i can make it better. i have plenty of time. if i submit to acen i probably can't put this up on the org until after it is over. if it's for jac only then i will probably put it on here sooner cause i don't care if it's been seen before. enough ramble. for tonight i am definately done. 45 sec into the video isn't bad at all considering. i'm not disappointed with what i have now either. i'm out.
- update 2004-01-10 23:58:56 video is coming out pretty good. i tried to experiment on how the quality will be after it is done. so far it might be a bit on the crap side. i still have to experiment with some of the AVS VDub features. i really want this to look decent cause I think this will be my best video to date. so far I got about 20 seconds give or take done. it's tough work. i am most likely going to edit the song though because it is highly repititious and i don't want to bore anyone let alone run out of footage. i shouldn't have too much of a problem with the latter though. if i run out i'll pop in one of the 18 dvds and find something that could fit. i'll probably work more tonight but i don't feel like it right now. i'm a bit tired. i'm outtie 5000! word! :-P
- I'm so stoked! 2004-01-09 01:20:04 CCS project has now begun the editing phase. I am really pumped about this because I am doing something I never really tried before. So far it is going great but editing is going to be a long process for sure. I am still concerned about how the quality of the AMV will be. I guess I will make multiple formats of it. My second fear is that I will run out of footage. I know I got over 4 minutes of footage for a song that is less than 3. I can always go through the dvds again to pick up stuff if I really need more footage. Man, I haven't felt this good about an AMV since my first two real AMVs that I made ever. It sucks that I only have a little over a week left to fully concentrate on this video. Who knows, seeing I stay up wierd hours of the night I could probably get a lot done if I wake up durnig the day. I still have to fit in the drawings for my sister but I'll do that when editing gets me a bit stumped. Well I lost my thought once again so I am going to leave. I'll write more of my progress probably tomorrow for all the 4 people that might be reading this. :-P
- WOOOOOOOOO! 2004-01-07 02:00:10 I finally got through all 18 dvds of CCS. Sorry no movies will be in the new AMV I am making. I selected a whole bunch of scenes that I can use for the video and wrote them down. Some I have already chosen for the video. The rest are up in the air at the moment. I think with this video I want to try some crazy stuff since it is supposed to be fun. That is a big difference from my usual romance/serious types of AMVs that I make. I think I'll be a good little lady and go to bed early tonight. Tomorrow I really want to hit up planning. Picking and choosing scenes will be tough. Extra stuff I guess I'll rip for back up footage cause once I make the avi's for premiere I am killing the vobs. Damn premiere and it's not taking avs self. Bah...I can't hate on it. My system is just wierd like that. I'm more excited now though. I'm just glad that evil task of watching is over. Luckily watcing some of the episodes made me remember how cool the show was. CK I will need your help with some of the editing cause I know you know how to do one thing that I know I know that I don't know yet. ^_^ I'll talk with you later about that though. Who knows, If this one turns out okay I might send it to ACEN. It's a long shot but it couldn't be no worse than my first real AMV. If that's too much of a long shot I'll let JAC watch it. We need things to do. LOL. VIVA LA IL!
- who would have guessed 2004-01-03 15:31:15 after watching some of my old amvs i got the urge to work again on this new project. i will be on the 5th dvd. i swear with the 4 dvds i gone through i bet i have enough footage but i want to go through them all cause i know that there are scenes later that i wanna use but haven't got to yet. some eps didn't even have footage i wanted. it's all good i guess. so i am working slowly but surely. it's good to know that is isn't a dead idea in the water. i would like to check out some videos with lip sync cause that will be the focus on this one. i also have to edit some scenes to get a comic effect. yes this will be a comedy video. i believe it will be my first one too. i guess it would be fun also. plot might be a bit weak though. i hate that. perhaps i will be able to incorporate something. at least it is all one anime instead of a complete random anime footage. whoops. i lost my thought. i guess i'll go battle on somewhere.
