- 2004-03-24 08:57:08 i see my main to videos did another position switch again. who will win the battle in the end? who knows. :P man where did all the banners go? it seems so empty now. maybe it's a spring break thing. i put most of my videos on a dvd so i can watch it on a tv. it didn't turn out too bad. only concern i have is that my new video for ACen kind of got cropped on the sides. i do have dialog bubbles occasionally. they got cut. i am hoping that the prejudging at ACen can kill that problem otherwise i will have to adjust things a little bit. it might have been the dvd burner on my sis comp though. yeah, if it's possible i will...oh crap...i just lost what i was going to say. damn you thong song for coming on. it distracted me. -_- well maybe i'll write more if i ever remember what i was trying to say. thong thong thong thong thong....-_-
- 2004-03-18 10:03:55 i am a bit concerned that movie player isn't playign my video cause of a missing codec and power dvd is playing but it is super saturated. i will need to look at it on another computer of some sort for sure. that's all for now.
- 2004-03-14 20:31:18 yeah i went on ahead and bought the TMPG Plus with my card. now i don't have to worry about the submisison to ACen at all. i can relax a little bit. yay! i still have to wait for the local submission here. i will probably to that one xvid since mpeg 1 still looks crappy. that will have to wait until a better way to use the newer xvid guide comes out. i got time though. i probably won't upload until after ACen anyway. at least it is done.
- 2004-03-14 01:09:15 i had tried out the 2-pass encode again. it looks a little better but it is still like some of the frames are lost. that ain't cool with the lip sync i am trying to do. i will ask for help in the forums and hopefully not get my head but the cluck off. i'm wondering if i have to lower the max bitrate even more. i'm off to get executed...i mean get help. LOL
- 2004-03-07 03:06:03 oh geez! mpeg 1 really makes my stuff look crappy than it should be. i wish i saved enough money to do an mpeg2 so my quality would be better. this leaves me no choice but to try the 2-pass encode. i never did it before but i'll be damned if i let this video get jacked up because of quality issues. too much planning went into this one and hours of editing for the friggin lip sync. only concern is that for ACen. if i send it using the 2-pass encode i should not lose my quality as bad. however, it might give them more work to do. still...i don't want to sacrifice it. my first real AMV was in divx. i wish i watched it at ACen to see how it turned out. then i could have an idea of what i should expect with this. i will probably try this 2-pass out tomorrow. luckily this is for my copy and not the ACen copy (no logos.) my copy will go on here whenever. i just don't know when yet. i kind of want to keep this video unseen so at ACen i can get first reactions. you know...ACen is not as far away as i thought any more. i think i can hang and keep this under wraps for a little over 2 more months. >_< 2 months...what will i do until then. maybe homework. -_-
