  • Time consuming 2006-01-04 23:36:20 I've been doing so many short amvs lately that I kind of forgot how long it takes to do longer videos. Granted this video I still clipped to 2:34 but compared to my 20 and 30 second vids it's a long haul. Right now I am getting clips. In all honesty for the technique that I am doing during the first 20 seconds or so I'm not going to need all of this. Somehow I just feel like I need to go through the whole movie clip by clip. This will help the timing though because it is faster paced to a drum beat. The more clips and changes the better.

    Now that classes have begun I think I will need to focus more on the weekends for editing. I got 3 weeks to finish this. I need to be completely finished with the project minus exporting by the 18th to give me enough time. To do so I will need to actually edit this weekend.

    This will be a challenge.  
  • 2006-01-03 19:20:54 Alright. I am done with the final product of the Ayumix MEP. Now I think I will sort through the clips in premiere. If time permits I can actually work on the editing. Classes have now started so I really need to edit when I can. These courses are no joke.  
  • 2005-12-29 23:29:50 I've been beta-ing my butt off for the past few days. Hopefully everything will look decent enough. I finally explored a few more effects. (I decided to play with AE a bit.) Granted the effects are still pretty minimal but it's a start.

    For SQ's contest I had a brainstorm how I wanted to approach some of the scenes. With new techniques I learned these past days I might be able to incorporate them into the new video.

    For future news I need to think up of the idea for ACen. I got one that's been in my head but I still don't know if I can make that reality yet. Then there is the fact that the other dvds are coming out next year as well. Technically where I want to end is where I got the dvds now. However, there could be footage that I want to use in the other dvds for backgrounds and such.

    I waiting to see if this beta video is okay. If so then I'll upload the full version and call that project a day. If not I'll fix it up.

    Then I will be working on SQ's contest. I already got the footage on my comp. I just need to free up some space before editing. I might be updating my software soon as well so I think I might wait and start the video after I get the stuff. We shall see.  
  • 2005-12-04 12:54:05 I think i decided on the anime I want for SQ's contest. I won't start on it until the MEP track is officially done though. I need the space. I really should look into an external harddrive. My 100 gigs are dwindling. I need probably another 80 to 100 to be satisfied. Some cds to burn would help as well.
