- 2006-01-14 23:12:30 All clips have been gathered. Now I just have to edit them. I'm kind of procrastinating on this paper though. That's not good. Right when I was ready to do it my sister uses my comp. That did give me more of a push to finish getting these clips. For a second I thought of manipulating the story where I have the characters die. I guess I still got that morbid thinking in me from Tomorrow's Not Today. I am leaning towards making them live though. It would kind of kill the purpose of the song if I just let them die. But man, that would be one hell of a twist. I am also deciding whether I should use the whole song or not now. I would like to use the cut version but I have a feeling I might run out of time that way. It'll be too rushed. We'll see.

@_@ I'm about 3/4 done with this movie. I never knew how long it actually was. I'll have to really cut down on what I'm going to do. My initial idea is also being changed. It will be divided into 2 sections: past and present. Present will be broken up into to pieces. The past will be about how having the power causes a lot of problems. The first present will show how that power can cause powers if you don't know how to handle it. The second present will be that you have a responsability to know how to control those powers and keep it away from others who abuse it. It's a simple concept. Everyone has heard of it at one point or another. Now after I get all of these clips I have to figure out how to manipulate the story this way.
I am glad that I now have the story worked out. These clips...they take FOREVER to get. I think it is taking awhile cause I'm in an actual editing mood. I don't want to go about searching for clips right now. I want to dive right into it. However, I know in the end if I don't have some organization I will get put in a bad position. It's best for me to get this over with between the next 2 days and begin editing than having to go back and get stuck cause I can't find a clip I'm looking for when I need to be editing.
Okay okay rant over.
Another question: What the hell am I going to do for ACen? This is the first year where I really don't have a clear video idea or actually working on it. Then again I have been doing more stuff than I have in the past years. I'll worry about that after this is done.
