- 2006-02-13 09:16:11 I don't have much time for ACen. Other priject is officially on hold. I ripped the dvds last night. Got the audio. Reinstalled amvapp to the newer version. Had some complications with that so I re-reinstalled. Now everything should be fine. I do have to deinterlace though. boo! Since that is the case I'll probably turn the clip into an avi and work from there. This way I know I got a hard copy just in case my avs file gets jacked up again. I'll just make the clips in premiere like I used to do 2 years ago.

I got back from my first grad school interview. It is very absorbing. I've got too much to catch up on now. That other project will have to wait. Interviews takes highest priority right now. Classes follow then the ACen amv I want to do. Seeing I won't have my weekends I'm gonna have to start now to finish by April.
In short I'll probably be lurking around and not saying much until all these interviews are over...March 18th. It's my hell month. -

Real life is catching up with me. This project that I would like to actually complete is due in about a month. I find myself having less and less time due to work, psuedo classes, and these graduate school interviews. Right now my priorities are not on AMVs. If I can get this project done before that deadline then so be it. If not...well I can't put my real future on hold for a hobby.
Good news is that I still have plenty of time for ACen. There are some movies that I would like to use for the theme but finding anime to match it is a bitch. However, I now have a clear idea of what I want to use for the main contest. Perfect anime even though it might be slightly overused. The song though...I doubt if many if any would use it. Because of what it is people are probably gonna go WTF is this? I don't care. I want to make this video. I got too many personal connections with this idea. Those videos that I have a personal connection to I usually end up doing my best on. It will be done for ACen.
I have one more idea but I'm going to wait until the whole show is released on dvd. Maybe that'll be for ACen 07. That's if I'm still in Chicago. - 2006-01-22 23:09:43 STB do that video anyway! No teasing me with a beta!!! *cries a river*

Bad news- I screwed up my video to the point where I gotta start all over.
Good news- I was only 20 seconds into the video.
Bad news- That first part took a long time to get right.
Good news- I'm going to change it cause I thought it sucked.
Bad news- I'll probably won't make the deadline.
Good news- I'm going to make the video anyway.
Good news- I'll get to do this video the right way.
