car troubles

To what extremes do you go in order to get your anime?(This might be a good question to liven up the forums a bit).
Well today this one made an irresponsible choice.
On the way to a job interview, my car's engine overheated and my car completely stopped at a stop light (yes I was paying attenion to the pretty dashboard warning lights). Luckily I got it running again and made my interview on time. But my engine was steaming when I got there.
After the interview I popped open the hood and saw that all of my frickin coolant was gone(it was full a month ago and I don't drive too often).
A convienient gas station was located near by so I was able to seemingly fix the problem without too much trouble (but then again, having your engine go out on you at a stop light is never a good sign).
I waited a bit to give my car more time to cool down, just to be on the safe side.
My previous plans (before my engine went nuts) were to go to the interview and then go over to best buy to buy volume 2 of Texhnolyze (I'm still trying to decide if I like then anime). Sometimes I love it when employees have no concept of release dates (Texhnolyze came out one week early at my best buy).
Instead of being smart and going over to the autobody shop to have my engine checked out (once again, just to be safe), I decided to proceed with my previous plans. Within a minute of driving down the highway my pretty dashboard lights started going off again and my engine began to give off a fragrant burnt smell. I made it half way to best buy and then stopped at another gas station (where I waited a half hour for the engine to cool down).
I preceded to best buy after that and I got my anime, but soon after my engine started smell again.
I could procede to give you the rest of the details but at this point you are probably rather bored and/or confused by my journal entry (nothing too new or suprising). In a nutshell I hid from an obnoxious teeny bopper and ended up pulled over on the side of a highway where a carny (or man who strongly resembled a carny, possibly a relative) tried to make a deal with me. $40 in exchange for towing my car two miles down the road to the nearest mechanics. Being the cheap and broke bitch that I am, I turned him down.
I did eventually get my car serviced ^ ^'(There was coolant leakage, who would have thought)
So is a busted engine worth an anime (that you're not even sure you enjoy)? Of course it is ^ ^

O gawd!
*crawls and hides in corner*
Clueless newbs are swarming the forums.
I know technically I'm still considered a newb (I joined in on april 4)
But these guys are scary. They're posting threads and posts all over the place. As the great Genjo Sanzo would say "Your stupidity is breath taking."
I know I should cut them a break but jeez! I don't beleive I was that bad when I joined (if I was e-mail me and give me a rude awakening, forum name is "someperson")

Finals. Hate finals. But the advanced computer aplications class's final is quite interesting. Either make a webpage for the school or create a video. Due to my previous entry you already know I despise macs (pretty much becuase I'm not used to them). FYI macs are also the computers that have the video editing programs on them. But I talked to my teacher about making my video at home and he gave it the ok.
I still plan to continue making a previous video (i'll finish it over the summer since I haven't had any time to edit it at all) but my school final will more than likely show up first.
