Have you ever had a weird akward moment with a stranger? Today I went with my dad and the sibs to get carmel apples and I felt someone pet me. I have to admit I do pet my friends(just as a joke and I make it a job for me to be the weird one in my ring of friends) but not too many people have actually petted me. I turn around and there's this blonde chic behind me (still petting me). I think I gave her a weird look and then one of those japanese beetles falls out of my hair (you know the ones that reproduce faster than rabbits, bite, and smell when you attempt to vaccum them off your windows). But man that's weird, having a complete stranger (whether they're getting a bug out of hair or not) just come up and pet you.
I don't know if it's the same through out the rest of the country but out here in Hicksville, WI we have a surplus of those beetles every fall and they're the most obnoxious little shits imaginable.
Now to the second part of my journal entry. I recently purchased Project Arms anime volume three(I don't have volumes 1 or 2 because my Suncoast is weird and orders things weird) and I am amazed at how closely it follows the manga(unlike scryed, I read the manga and it was good, when you compare it with the anime it doesn't really measure up...or at least so far in the series, maybe it'll get better :-/). Even pictures as well as the plot match almost perfectly. It's pretty awesome.
In this anime they feature the voice of Shippo (if you watch inuyasha on cartoon network you know the cute little fox demon) as an evil kid genius. It's kinda funny to hear the voice of the cute innocent voice of Shippo say shit. -

Fuckin'Hey! I know all I've been doing is complaining but shit! What's wrong with this computer. It's brand new and it was bought especially for making videos (the female guardian has a horse bussiness uses the movie makers for making horse videos). And I can't make a quality video!
Pinnacle (again with the tearing at Pinnacle) won't accept any of the video that I captured from ATI(which is captured on a different computer and then burned on a CD and used on the new puter) and the video it captures (even with an S-video thing) isn't that good (better than some but still it's fuzzy) and it's dvd!
Okay big deal so the picture isn't perfect...mmk well it also doesn't even run. In order to open a project and have the storyboard show up I have to have been working on that particular project with footage from that project. And even then the chances of actually getting something accomplished are minimal because the program stops responding and Murphey's law starts taking over ("you can expect the worst possible thing to happen at the worst possible time")
I better quit bitching and get my act together so I can get my videos up. The videos won't just magically fix themselves by me pissing and moaning. Hope I haven't depressed any of you.

*sigh* this is more of a personal entry that anything. Just feeling a little more depressed than usual. I need to vent. We took a personality test today in pschology. The results of my personality test said that said that basically said that I wasn't a very motivated person and that I have no goals in life ( there were a few good ones). The day before we had to say out loud a small reasonable goal that we have for ourselves. Feeling slightly crabby I said I didn't have any ( I had some but what can I say, basically they were dumb as hell and I really have no life so the goals were few). So put them (the personality test results were said outloud) together and we have a hhumiliating situation. The psych teacher read my results and then made a smart ass comment about it. So it was humiliating. What's my main goal...to get through the friggin' day without screwing up. Man some teachers are just loud mouths. A rock would have been handy at the moment because I really needed to crawl under one ( I know that comments a bit cheesy but it's true).
- 2003-10-10 11:22:17 Well the amv is coming along ok. I'm actually having a lot of fun making it. The song is by Quarshi (stick em up) and I'm using Scryed for the anime. But for some reason Pinnacle is acting up again. I left my computer on over night while Pinnacle was rendering some clips, when I woke up in the morning (don't know if you understand this or not) the display box deal ( with all the controls and timeline etc.) had moved to the upper left hand corner. It woulnd't be bad if the tool bar hadn't been wedged in the corner. So everytime I start up pinnacle it displays in the corner and I can't save anything or capture anything. Anyway I hope I didn't confuse you (but I probably did, It happens). But anyhoo...Fun stuff
