Well, damn. I've been hella busy. Got off of active duty two days before Christmas. Liked that. Had to finish registering for school. Apparently I have to take a basic Chem class for a EE major. Don't get it. Anyway, school started on Jan 18, Not that bad. Though there was a hugh mix up with the new Accuplacer test that is required to be taken by all Calc and above students. Just so the school knows that you know basic algebra. Found out that I had to take it the day before the last day it was being given, but since my Calc teacher is the co-chair of the Math dept. he let me do it later. Cool.
In my Intro to EE class we are learning slices from all the other engineering cat. and we have to complete a project. My group, the Skreeching Weazals, has to build a Tsunami/earthquak simulator. As of this week, we have less than 6 weeks left to build it. We still have no real idea at how to start.
This past weekend I went to my first Reserve drill, since I'm now offically off Active duty. And guess what we just found out. My unit is being called to go to Iraq around Sept. Yeah. Since I already have 2yrs of AD under my belt, I won't be made to go, but I kinda do. Because if I don't go now, later when my number comes up I'll be shipped out with some unknown unit. I'd rather be with people I know and somewhat trust. The best thing is I can complete an actual semester of school. and get real credit to a degree.
It won't be that bad, if we stay in Kuwait. They have buildings we can stay in. Some with AC. And by AC I mean windows with fans. Though the biggest upshot is the pay: Overseas pay, hazard pay, housing allowence, and regular pay. All non-taxable. Me and my old roommate estimated at most $6,000 per month. And we are expected to stay 18-24 months. Over $100,000 will be made. Hell yeah.
Other shit has happened since getting off of AD, but most is Classified. Sufice to say, I really haven't had access to the internet on a full basis. Oh well, life goes on.
As for the book stuffs, I've made small yet large progress. The short I wrote for the English class on base helped flesh out somethings. Revamped many chapters, and started a completely different story with different caracters. Go figure. Since the progress passed, I've been stuck again.

School is fine, paper 4 is almost cleaned up to sometjing presentable. It was funny when Blair-sensei told the class I was working on writing a book. They were all like "Yeah right" in their experstions. If things work out, I'll be like "told you so" later in life. But I'm getting way ahead of myself.
I acctually start to demobolize tomorrow. What fun. This means I am garantied to be home for christmas. Yay ^-^
It's going to be hell getting all my stuff home. Hour to an hour/half one way. and I've got a shit load of stuff. One thing I have no idea of what to do with is the fridge someone lent me. He is in my original det here in colorado so I can get it back to him, it will just be hard.
Saw the polar express on a frence bootleg, not specific shoise, he just had it on the big TV in the dayroom. I just kinda walked in on the begining and sat down for the rest. It was long and dumn. We fast forwarded it through parts just to get through, ten page picture book into a 2 hour movie on a low budget. Yeah, didn't work out.
My new HD for the laptop in coming this week, I am going to kill everyone if this don't work out and stop breaking. Yes you heard me, "EVERYONE!!!"
Being out at the range the rest of the week was fine, the night fire the nuit did was a pain though. We didn't have enough chem lights for the targets, and there weren't enough rounds for the soldiers. but apart from that the rest of the week went fine.
Did a tig bit more Christmas shopping, finally got aroung to reading Fruits Basket vol 3. Love the series.

Schools been cool. Did good on the comparason paper. Next paper is harder, An opinion paper with boths sides presented. It's tiring. My laptop is dead again. I'm begining to think that it has a motherboard problem.
Lets see, Still working on story rewrites, but I have gotten a few new chapters done. My short for the last paper for my class is almost finished. I tell ya, it's like a roller coaster with my writing. One minute I can write for hours, the next I can't write a thing.
My dreams are back to being super real, this time I locked my room. It was a big surprise to wake up and try to open the locked door. I still don't know how I got back into bed. Earlier this week my dream had me somewhere looking at games. then I look at my watch and it's 7:28. So I get out of the room and start for the stairs, 7:30. someone asks where I'm going, I tell them I have an appointment real soon. Then my alarm went off, 7:31. Beautifully one time with my dream.
Christmas shopping is so depressing. Every gift I buy the less money I have for the next. Then there is the Christmas music. I don't know about you but I really don't like the repeating music I hear everywhere. It's all the same, nothing new. I like variaty, and no remakes by Brittney or Jessica or any of the other "pop idles."
That reminds me, I was in folleys today and saw that Brittney has her own perfume brand. Anything for money I guess.
I always love the feeling of going to the beauty section and asking what the difference is between all the body(fill in with any random word) are. Today it was the difgference between the Origins Souffle and balm. Apparently the souffle is not as thick as the balm but the balm is more moisturizing. Yeah, whatever I just hope I got the right one.
Work wide, we are back training the Air Force. I have two more ranges I am helping out with this week. Then I have CQ again. I can't complain but I know Mrs. K is going to have a hard time since C Det is off training to go back to Iraq. They are supposed to leave in march. What I don't Get is why do they need so much training, they were just there a few months ago I'm supposed to be gone in Jan, hopefully. Sometime this week I need to register with the school for spring sem.

Man alot has happened since I last wrote. So here's my short version, maybe.
The movie "saw" was pretty good. Though nearing the end the acting got pretty bad. I went to a haunted house for Halloween, it was pretty fun. The best part was the gourp of girls we caught up with. You know the type who get really scared. I got them a few times in the mazes that were there. It snowed, just like every other Halloween in Colorado. Never Fails.
Two papers have been turned in, I did well on both. I still need some work with my commas though. The paper I am currently working on is a comparison, I got the right information, now it seems I need to "compare" it. As for my book, doing pretty good, most rewrites are done, found more that need to be, got another chapter written, I might even have my paper #4 which can be a story. (See, lots of commas)
Work has been really busy, 10th special forces leave next week back to Iraq. One officer told me to watch the news, something big will happen. The new guy is learning the ropes, albet a bit slow.
Had some fun overthe Vetrens day weekend, expecially since I also had the following mon and tues off. 6 day weekend^_^. I was able to take care of my residency problem at Cu-d, so now I'm not paying 900 some odd dollars for tuition. Saw "The Incredibals" very funny. Recommended. My laptop came back from the shop, I think I've used all my warrenty, lets hope it don't break, again. Damn It!! Bush won, we screwed now.(oops, did I just say that out loud?) Yeah, can you tell I don't like the guy?
Fun fact: The absenty balots for Florida only had the Republican canidates listed. Even the balots that were sent to the Democatic party people had only Republican canidates. I wonder why.
Bought Star Ocean 3, Not as good as the hype, It had potential, but didn't use it. Also just bought Metroid Prime 2:Echoes, I'll start it this week end. Loved the first one. A small little thing that I was happy to find was the To Heart manga, nothing to big, just something that brought a smile to my face. Fanboy says what.
Well that about wraps it up. I have class today, so I'll get back the rough of the comparison paper with notes on how to make it compare. Small victories.

Mt english teacher is pretty cool. Her major in college was creative writing, so she was interested in my book. How cool is that? I gave her a piece of it to read, she wants to help me get a part of it or a short story based on it published somewhere. I'm so excited ^_^ (Nyao!)
I've been rewriting alot of the main book I first started because of the piece that I gave the teacher. Once I finish most of the changes I'll give her what I have. Hopefully this revisal will hel;p me out of writers block.
You know, I never thought I'd find someone this early who would be willing to help me, It all goes well, I might just reach my goal.
Not much else has happen, found some really bad beer, but that really is pretty insignifigant. Though I did sleep till 11 today, rarely happens. Might see that movie "Saw" today sometime. You know, the one about the killer who gets people to kill themselve for him. I'll probably call the computer people midweek and ask the status of my laptop, I will definitly need it as class gets mid way through.
