I was able to do that a few years back, but since then, everytime I get to the point, I either wake up of the dream changes to something that tends to take over the situation.
As far as the gas station, I only realize that after I wake up. -

Anyway, Like I was trying to say, when ever I fly in my dreams I have a tendency to realize that I am dreaming, usually saying something like, "I'm flying again, I hope I'm better than last in the last dream."
I rarely acnowladge that I'm in a dream otherwise.

I sometimes et the feeling that I like gas station convenient stores.
Most of my dreams that have me getting somekind of snack of food, I always seem to go to gas stations. I never have a car, maybe a bike, but always while I'm walking one just shows up. Sometimes I think they are the same station, because they look the same inside.

We've been hit unexpetantly with a sand storm.
I just love the taste of sand
I've never been to the beach, and I probably will never go.
I'm complaining too much
