  • I'm the hiptydipty weatherman with the hiptydipty weather 2006-12-09 18:29:13 IT'S COLD!!!

    Don't ever walk a mile at 7:45 in the morning with the temperature below 30 and a wind chill in the teens. You will go numb and die of hypothermia... thank god I only have a cold... or is it the start of something more. 0.o. Time will tell.

    But yeah, my trolley driver was too damn slow so I missed my connection which resulted in me walking the second leg of my trip just so I wouldn't be late for work... or at least TOO late. I think ten minutes should be ok. No one said anything. ^^.

    But work in itself was hell. It started kinda good with a nice stream of customers from 9-11. Then I died. I mean it died. Fifteen shoppers from 11- 3. Then, in my last hour, ten! Ten FUCKING CUSTOMERS!!! And I was alone! Oh joy. We ran out of crab legs, but I was busy with other people to refill them. Salmon ran out. Same problem. Then the one of the shrimp and the smelts which are on sale ran out completly. AND NONE ARE COMING IN UNTIL MONDAY!!!! GAH!!!!!!

    Hell has begun far too early...  
  • Quiet and Cold 2006-12-08 10:06:04 Slow day yesterday aside from WCs ranting.

    Anywho, learning Power Point right now (yes that was sarcasim in my typing). Thank god this is what the final will be on. Easy A!

    Computer should be running like a champ now. Still trying to get a year's worth of updates and seeking new virus protection. That is never happening again.

    I think I know the song for my next AMV... but further details shall remain in my secret lockbox under Al Gore's car. But Tipper does not have the key...

    Got to finish SR-71 as well as a few ops... plus join Moonie's Mep...

    Need my money from work. God I hate having to sit around for so long just to pick it up. And it's cold! The little temp guage on this computer reads 23... wow... one degree higher then when I left. I wonder if the wind chill is still 6? And do I see flurries in the forecast? Maybe a dusting? Hot shit...

    And yes... I am no longer Nancy... just cooking oil... thanks Kiki... at least I can french fry felons. ^^

    Gotta pay for california trip this week if I want to get a roundtrip cross country flight for just over $400. But i still need a hotel... (You know who you are...Y).

    We encountered a formidable enemy upon the newly overhauled "Usankusai" tower. It cause of the infestation remains unknown, but we did lose several key personell in the first wave. However, we held the evil Trojan at bay (wasn't the her pleasure brand). Eventually, we quarantined them in the inner bowls of Kero. But this proved not to be the end of the attack.

    Sources us that the Trojan invasion was nothing but a decoy designed to drive us from the main wave. Whilst we searched the area around Premiere and Vegas for the leak in the defenses, the main firewall was breached. I remained in the control room coordinating the defense forces protecting Sakura and Shana while maintaining a constant watch on Kusanagi's status. We could not lose him to the enemy!

    At 4:32PM, the first flair from Sakura went up. The Vegas installation file had fallen. It was a great loss, but the troops moral remained high. We pushed on with the PCCillin finally ready for combat. I sent what should have been a leather dose throughout Sakura, Shana, Kero, and Kusanagi. But then I saw something I had hoped to avoid... Kusanagi had been taken over by another foe... an evil Worm. To compound my troubles, the Cillin had failed to eradicate the neutralized Trojan and other virus. Before long, Sakura had fallen.

    Sweat poured from my forehead and began flooding my control consul. My clinched fists trembled with rage and frustration. Small pools of blood formed underneath where my nail punctured the soft skin of my palms. I was defenseless. All options were exhausted and my troops were falling by the millions. I had only one option... the bomb... YES THE BOMB!! The pure Symantec Bomb... I had used it two days prior to destroy the colony of 2-22-2006-5-16-2006. I had no choice... I nuked my own people... My god rest their souls.

    God it's been a busy 24 hours. From being emo to dealing with all the different types of computer malware (Virus, Worm, Trojan, Ad-ware), plus doing a math test... I hate my computer... At least my side drives were spared the onslaught

    Kusanagi = 250GB Main Hard Drive (C:) *Died*
    Sakura = 60GB Partitioned HD (D:) *Lost 33 Files*
    Shana = 90GB Partitioned HD (E:) *Spared*
    *shana and sakura are the same physical, but split into two components
    Kero = 400GB External HD (G:) *Spared*

    Kusanagi houses the OS and all system Apps like Premiere, Vegas, Skype, etc

    Sakura is my backup drive where I keep my installation files like the AMVApp, x.264, VLC Player, etc as well as my subs: Kanon2006, AIR, Haruhi Suzumiya.

    Shana is my media drive. Houses 123 AMVs, 616 MP3s, 95 Pics, and the Rars of all my StepMania Simfiles

    Kero stores all my video projects and sources. Currently has all of Kaleido Star, Elfen Lied, and the first season of Rurouni Kenshin.

    * 2006-12-02 07:33:55Not necessarily A MEP-worthy idea, because MEPs are based on the quantity > quality philosophy. The concept or replacing an intro definately needs more effort than a MEP gives it.

    Meh... start small and work your way up. I didn't want to do a complex idea for my first.
