    Seems like Feburary has been a month of death this year. I guess it's good that I have no family aside from those who live with me to worry about. But even though the month is almost over, I will pray that everyone else in the world shall remain safe. Human and Animal Alike.

    On a more positive note, I started work on "Kalidonic Limelight." It's gonna be a little harder than I orginally thought. Got a little done at two points in the first verse. I just need to get away from episode 1 ^^;

    I'm also getting my new PS2 today! WHOOOT! This will be my third @_@ I gave up after two X-Boxes died in one year. I only had 5 games for it. But I have like 30 for the PS2, including DDR. I missed my DDR ;( .

    And... umm... I'm never watching Silent Pornograph. I was talking to Yeiweh about it and when she said it had no plot and nothing but yaoi buttsecks I kinda vomited. Of couse she had to throw in the cocksucking ten minutes after the fact. Yeah... I love you too. :P If the mep takes shape... I think I'll have that video sent to Stolen Soul.

  • Memoir... 2007-02-20 16:13:21 Tell me something. Should you be forced to read aloud an important event in your life to a class of people you don't even know? For my intro to Interpersonal Communications class, we have to write a 4 - 10 page memoir about a significant event in our lives...

    Here's the full scoop from the assignment sheet:

    A memoir is a personal story that can detail a pivotal, interesting, or exciting point in your life. Some memoirs detail the entirety of the author's life. I would assume that your short memoir will instead detail a few significant moments, events, or years. For your assignment, please write a 4 - 10 page memoir, or revealing short-story, that exhibits who you are as a person. The story should be a representative of communication in general, by that I mean that it can be humorous, serious, dramatic, or emotional. You should not worry about censoring your material for the class. However, should worry about keeping your readers or listeners interested and you should expect that you wil read your memoir aloud in class. Your story, like most stories, should present a particular problem or set of situations, a climax or conflict, and some sort of falling action and resolution

    After reading your memoir, the class should have a greater insight into who your are as a person. If at all possible, set the environment, culture, and context for your story so that we might best understand your dilemma, experience, or background. Ideally, you will describe a series of interesting moments in your life that have contributed to the type of person and communicator you are today.

    For example, if you were a political refugee we would find it most interesting to detail those moments of fear and escape. if you were in a car accident and almost killed, we would find that story interesting. Last, if you hitch-hiked across the U.S., we would probably enjoy that story

    Yeah..... there's nothing interesting about my damn life. And any stories I DO have I would rather not read aloud to the entire class. I don't feel comfortable doing it. But this damn thing is one of the 4 grades we will get all semester so I can't skip it.

    Yeiweh suggested talking about my experience running my "Operation Introduction" MEP which is what I'll likely do. But I don't feel it is right to force this shit on people for a damn grade.
