- Almost there... 2007-05-03 20:46:50 Started my marathon of essays, powerpoints, and web sites at 11am this morning. It is now 8:45pm and all but the website is done. I just need to make two more pages and then I'm done this shit for the semester. Then I can FINALLY get back to working on AMVs. Oh how I've miss you so... ;_;

UPDATE: Wednesday, May 2, 2007 – 5 p.m.
DCCC REOPENS ON A POSITIVE NOTE
We are pleased to report that all DCCC locations reopened today. Thanks to the outstanding cooperation of our students, faculty, and staff, the College experienced a smooth transition to normal operations, and attendance was strong.
President Jerry Parker and other top College officials welcomed students, answered questions and addressed concerns at each of the College campuses. Provost Virginia Carter, who accompanied Parker, reported that responses from members of the College community were consistently positive as they discussed the measures implemented to ensure safety at the five campuses.
The Office of Campus Life offered free refreshments and distributed updated course and final exam schedules to students, who were especially glad to be back in class.
Dr. Parker expressed particular appreciation to the students, who followed the new guidelines regarding restrictions on backpacks, purses, and other large bags on campus.
“I’d also like to thank the entire DCCC community for their support through this difficult time,” said Dr. Parker. “We owe special thanks to the members of our College security and local law enforcement agencies for their continuing assistance throughout the investigation and for their presence on our campuses today.”
Local police officers will remain on duty at all campus locations throughout the remainder of the semester. Access to College buildings will continue to be limited and students, faculty, and staff will be asked to continue following the procedures developed for our reopening today.
