  • Sayanara... for now 2007-11-30 21:10:58 Gonna be unhooking my PC after I type this message. Gonna get moved into the new apartment tomorrow so I'll be without any internet for an unknown amount of time. Seems no one likes to provide service to my place except Comcast (shudders) so I might have to go with dial-up. (shudders more).

    So I guess this is good-by for a while org and my peoples. Stay cool and please don't blow the place up while I'm gone...

  • too soon... 2007-11-22 22:47:43 As of 3:00PM yesterdat (November 21) my favorite radio station switched to its playlist of dewm. For those who live in the Philadelphia region and listen to B101.1, then you know that from the time mentioned above until December 26th, they will be playing NOTHING BUT CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!!! GAH!!!! What law says that you are required to play Christmas music from Thanksgiving until the holiday? I wanna see it in writing and I want it then stricken from all rulebooks, lawbooks, and instruction manuals and burned.

    This is not to say I hate Christmas music... it's just that you hear the same songs over and over and over again just song by some different artist. For example, in one 8 hour shift at work (my job just so happens to play this station ;_; ) I heard the song "Sleigh Ride" 10 times. Rudolf 4 times, the Christmas Song 6 times, not to mention songs like "I Saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus" and "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" which has been stuck in my head for two years... (thanks Katie >:( ). I just had it on now and I got a LOVELY taste of "Silent Night" sung by an all kids choir.

    All I have to say is WHERE IS THE TSO? I rarely hear any Trans Siberian Orchestra. Maybe some Mannheim Steamroller. Something upbeat besides the classic "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" or anything by NSync and Maria Carey. And I would LOVE some songs like "Winter Wish" by Chihiro Yonekura and "Koi no Tenshi Mai Orite" by Yui Hori and Yukari Tamura. I got $50 radio station people. Will that get them on the air...

    But please people... l don't wanna see/hear all this Christmas stuff until DECEMBER. November 10 is a No-no. I'll let Thanksgiving day and Black Friday slide... but any day before 12:01am Thanksgiving Day is too soon in my book.
     
  • This ain't good... 2007-11-21 11:10:27 With all the work I've been doing at work involving lifting hundreds of pounds of turkeys. over the course of an 8 or 9 hour day, I think my knee is about to give out, along with my whole body. I got work in 2 hours but thankfully it's my last day of this work week. I'm off tomorrow (yay? ) and I go back Friday. But it's getting very hard to walk without pain. I kinda feel like those old people who struggle to walk and only want to sit down. It sucks... ;_;

    And my glasses are starting to break... so I might end up and blind gimp by the end of the day. Update on the 10 o'Clock news. 
  • New video? 2007-11-15 23:16:58 If you can believe it, yes... but not right now though (sorry to get my 3 fan's hopes up ^^; ) But it should be done very soon. Whether it's before or after the move, I don't know, but if all goes as it is now... it could be the former. But the problem is that... well... I tend to edit the easy parts first, or rather the parts I have solid ideas for. For example, In "Stay With Me," I began editing at the 1:07 mark just after the first chorus. Hell... the beginning was the LAST part I edited. This video is no exception. I have the beginning done, about 1/3 of the middle, and the end. IT's that last 2/3 of the middle that's bugging me. The two parts come before and after one major chunk of editing from the middle of the show, so I don't know what else to put...

    Let me show you what I've got so far... just so you can see what I'm talking about...

    Not too shabby for about 15 days... with only about 6 of them being real "editing" days. Also today was one of those cold, windy, rainy, gloomy late fall days that make you wanna stay in bed. Thank God for WAWA Mocha Alert with Extra Caffeine. It does a body good.

    Anyway... as always... beta testers are always welcome so if you got time, I got a link. And I'll be sure to mention you in the credits.

    Only took a month and a few weeks. It kinda irks me that the first place we tried took almost a week and a half to tell us we were turned down and then this one approves us in LESS than 6 hours... WTF?

    So now looking for renter's insurance. Seems its the new auto insurance, can't rent an apartment without it.

    Anywho, moving day is the 30th of this month so I'll be without internet for a couple weeks while things settle down and I find a decent provider. But I'll try an release something between now and then... just know that I am not one to rush my AMVs (yes, I'm talking to you CC) so If one is not done by that date, you can be sure it will be when I come back.
