  • Logs on the fire.... 2008-12-02 21:16:14 Don't know the song, but I hear those lines ALL the time at work during Christmas. It's insane. Though I haven't heard the bombardment of "Little Drummer Boy" as I did last year. Maybe because they are playing the Oldies station instead of B101. Lucky?

    And put the tree up this evening. Our little Charlie Brown tree. I could have sworn that half of the lights went out by the time we took it down last year, but we plugged it in and they all popped on. Lucky?

    But yeah... gotta get to editing something. Just wish I had some ideas. Since "Shana" I've been drawing blanks. I started a few ideas, but they all seem to fall through. Not Lucky.

  • So I went shopping on Black Friday... 2008-11-28 23:14:52 ...and while people were buying their 4 TVs (true), their Wiis, their Camcorders (to make HD homemade porn no doubt) and their other nick-nacks (patty whack give a dog a fucking bone) I was picking up ONE thing. The Girl Who Lept Through Time. Heard about it for years. Saw several AMVs (thanks Kikai) and read about it all over and it FINALLY got released. So what did I think?

    One of my favorite Anime Films up there with Kumo no Muko, and 5 Centimeters Per Second (I know. I'm a stickler for dramatic romance movies. I woulda guessed everyone woulduv known that by now.) But seriously, it's one of the best anime purchases I've made this year. Watched it as soon as I got home and now I wanna watch it again.

    For something completely different, spent a good 3-4 hours playing Warhammer this evening. It's much more fun when you got a guild to quest with. I did see my first hack though. Some stupid Dwarf managed to get to our side of the zone just 20 seconds after the battle began. Impossible. Now matter what level you are at, we always meet at the center. I was the leader of the charge and I had to stop and do a double take. Crazy.

    And I finally got eliminated from Project Editor. I didn't want to drop so I just made some BS video for the last round. I would have been pissed if I had made it. But now I'm gonna start getting stuff together for "Top Editor." I think the prize is either gonna be a simple trophy (there's a trophy shop in the same shopping center as my work) or a nice 1TB HDD. But I'm not gonna get either unless I know I have enough interest.

    So if you read this journal and would be interested in this competition if I get it off the ground, PM me or something. I'll also be looking for judges too.
