    For those who may not know, RCN is a cable tv, internet, phone company like Comcast or some others I never heard of. Why do they suck... well... while typing this, my internet just konked out for the... I lost count amount of times... TODAY. And not just today, but yesterday as well. Since they had a full service outage in Philadelphia back in mid November, my internet has been doing that. It's so annoying. Especially when I'm helping people raid a keep in Warhammer and I get dropped. I haven't been able to get a good session longer than 10 minutes since Tuesday night which was one of those RARE occasions when the damn thing didn't die during one 5+ hour grind.

    So we have some tech coming to check it out... ON MONDAY! What the fuck. No openings until Monday? Jesus fucking Christ! I'm getting charged for internet service that is only up 75% of the time AT BEST.

    Comcast is looking MIGHTY good right now. More expensive, but less downtime according to my mom who uses it.

    You don't suck at editing. I still watch "High" every other day. Even convinced me to buy the movie

    And the internet konked out twice while typing this. ;_; 
  • Nuke 2009-01-07 12:19:05 Some dastardly cold of epic proportions is currently ravaging my body. Can't breath out my nose. Cough. Aches. Chest pain. Sleepyness (does not help that it's gray and rainy). I'm in such a fog it's not funny. Been like this for two days and all my meds have decided not to work anymore.

    Aside from that I came to the conclusion that I like the Blackguard in Warhammer online. More than my Magus? No. But close. In one night I went from Career level 7 - about halfway to 11 and Renown rand 3-7. I was surprised to see that I was consistently the top Destruction player in most of the scenarios I was doing. I was even holding my own against NPC Champions (not an easy task). More fun for me.

     
  • ....... 2008-12-24 21:55:37 2 days. 23 1/2 hours of work... and I still gotta go in for four hours tomorrow. Then I'm off on Friday. Yep Yep.

    Merry Christmas Org. Now off to finally get some sleep.  
  • New Compy!!! 2008-12-18 09:06:32 Finally decided to pull out my Dell and start using my new comp built by yours truly. Much more powerful and fun. The only problem is that I need to get an external enclosure for my media and backup HDD since my IDE cable is a bit too small to fit where the 3.5 drives go. I'll get to that in a couple days or so. But more fun editing times without premiere crashing on me.  
  • Internetz 2008-12-17 23:09:52 I just love how unreliable my internet has been recently. Tonight has been fun as hell. Since I got home around 9, my modem has reset itself at least 10 times and I power cycled it another ten times. Got through to RCN after about 40 mins on hold and they could not find out what is wrong with it. So they have a technician coming on Friday to check if the modem is messed up. Hopefully it will be fine so I can cancel it since I don't feel like paying $15 because something is wrong with THEIR equipment.
