  • V-day? 2009-02-13 00:28:03 Don't believe in it. Just some stupid commercial holiday where every guy try to impress the "one they love" so much with sweets and flowers and stuffed animals that the hope the before mentioned "loved one" would have sex with them. Don't deny it guys. I'm at the point where I couldn't care less. I know my fiancee doesn't either. I hear of people spending 60+ dollars on flowers. Why? They will be dead in a few days. The stuffed bear? Lost over the course of the year. And then... what if this person is NOT the one. Then you look back and realize you wasted so much time and effort impressing this girl who you never were meant to have.

    Am I being cynical? Maybe. But this has been one thing that has pissed me off for years. Maybe even more how people have bastardized Christmas.  
  • Why can't I just get a little sick or something? 2009-02-11 22:40:04 So after spending 2 hours in the ER last night (which is not bad considering how busy it was when I walked out) the 3 day long headache, muffled hearing, ear pain, sinus pressure, are all nothing but... fucking blockage. No infection. Just blockage that has to clear up on it's own... just ducky. And the cold makes it worse. I work in meat/seafood where the temperature is usually 35-45 F. No fun. So now I'm loopy and all I can take is some nasal spray and jack myself with pain killers to make the headache go away (2000 mg of Acetaminophen does not even work).

    And the fact I have fluid in my ears leads me to think one thing... I don't have one yet, but I WILL likely have an ear infection shortly given the fact that I've had more earaches than colds in my life and was almost rendered deaf in one ear from them. Gonna be fun... just gotta hope my insurance from work goes through quickly then I'll be set to get my cheap antibiotics and be on my way.

    Yep.. oh fuck it.
