I've discovered something , I'm having a hard time trying to draw from my dark depressing side for my fatal fury project. And I know why, I'm too happy. Yea you heard me right .too happy, when I was making the videos like that I was working a crappy job that I'd rather not of been at, along with working a second job, fighting with the wife over almost anything, and worrying about every little thing.
Now with the type of job that I've always wanted , me and the wife getting along so good that kid number two is on it's way. ^_^;; (I've been busy) I have nothing on the depressed/sad side to tap into at this time. So I guess that the fatal fury project will be set aside for now (I might be somewhat gunshy to making another fatal fury vid anyways...last couple attemps didn't quite pan out as expected)
So here's the new dream... After a night of insomneia I crashed out at the .org chat and was givin the idea to try a DDR song, So after several hours of downloading I think I found one that seem to match a Dirty Pair Flash project that I've wanted to at least try for a while now...Course this issn't gonna be the normal run of the mill Stryker vid. I'm shooting for something different..I used to edit and say " that's close enuf". Not this time...Good enuf is not gonna cut it . I will work on this one until I feel that it is perfect... Then when someone watches it theyh will just sit there slack jawed and go " that was fucking sweet...." OH yes, it will happen... - The next level of my editing methods...*sigh* 2002-11-26 12:57:05 with a new project in mind and a dream in my heart I set off to rip 2 of my old favorite's to finish a mission that I started a long time ago. But upon begining my work in Vegas Video, I noticed something disturbing. I CAN"T USE 2 fake avi at the same time...so I had to move. So I studies the guides for a little bit (several hours) My new video will be my first Adobe Premiere video. So this will be very insteresting seeing how I held off on premiere till I thought I was ready for it. Looks like I have no say in the matter now. So wish me luck...

Now that the org is back up I can ask my question. I was surfing my usual p2p program and downloaded an interesting AMV. I started watching and noticed something very disturbing…It was using footage that was created by me. That irked me to some content but here’s the kicker. The video itself was about 3 minutes long but it had a whole 10 minutes on the player’s clock. I let the bastard creation play on and all of a sudden I start hearing the song, almost the entire song that was on my video. Now I’m not one to blow up over a little footage of mine was being used, but not even removing all of the song that I used…either they have very little or no real brain power or they don’t know what the hell they doing. Oh well, enough ranting.
Shouldn’t just be basic netiquette that they ask the person that went to all the trouble of creating the footage to use before they start using other people’s footage? I mean if the of the original creator has website or an email address is sitting there right at the beginning of the video you’d think they’d have half a mind to take a little bit of time to ask if they could use the footage? Maybe it’s just the principal of it all. I could also stir up other thoughts in my head but the hell with it; I’ll save those thoughts for another day.
