- Hmmm big changes in my life... 2004-10-19 13:44:24 like the title says... my life is about to take a 360 turn, as for the direction I cannot say yet. Every thing that I have known for close to 7 years is about to change. what it means for me, don't know. I'm just very confused about these things and what they mean for my life.
- Back home again. 2004-10-15 20:19:42 I'm home now. Chicago is a nice place tovisit, but damn it cost some cash for even the some of the simplest things.. drinks I can get for a 1$ here are like 2.50$ there. and not to mention all the traffic.. Oo may never get used to traveling by cabs.

sitting here in a hotel lobby, in chicago (work related - print show) waiting for my co-workers to meet up for some food.. so I thought I'd put the time to good use.
My site is straightened out, not quite as expected and not with out victoms. DNS is working again, pointing where it should. But I've lost all my most recent updates. (mostly layout) I'll live, just switched over to the old layout for now.
Video wise, kinda hard to work on it when upstate from my main computer. No biggie, but i can tell you about it. It was my last good idea after wing goddess, a struggle between Ryu and Akuma. (yea another SFA/Linkin park vid) I'm about 30 + seconds into it. Got most the stuff for the start and finish, just the inbetween needs the work.
Maybe if I'm lucky I can get in more that one video this year, and if not. Ive got a small slew of ideas for next year.

Well you get the 2 for 1 special. I decided to save some pennies by moving my site back to my original server for hosting, now that I have a complete dot com for it. but here's the kicker.. I asked the place what happens before I would cancel. they told me and I canceled, Hoping to get information on what registar did my site's dirty work.. but no..I get nothing...it's been a week and no reply from them about it... I am extreamly put off. eheh, put off...damn been a dad for too long now, even censoring my own thoughts.... ALright, and now the good news. After much fighting and wanting to toss my homebuild computer out the window and killing the person that ever came up with the words, RMA. With the help of a friend, I got my rig to breath fire and burp microsoft Os again. I haven't had much time to give it a good editing test, but it is comming soon. maybe tonight while I vent...

This morning I was going through my normal routine of checking my site, my favorite web comics and all 6 of my email accounts ... I took a peek at my guest book for www.doriimudejitaru.com (my little site for all my videos) and what do I see? Someone basically trashing videos on my site. Now the video was not one of mine,((also please note that it was his first attempt and he used less that quality footage for it )) it's one that I so kindly host for a friend that doesn't make videos anymore (Collage has the better of his time now). Now I noticed that this punk seems to talk like he knows a thing about videos, so I go to the site that he listed in the guest book entry. And what do I see? Two cardinal sins for making an AMV…
1. Fansubs/subtitled -- Nothing wrong with watching them…I know several people that do wonders when editing with them, but not this time…
2. WMV -- They choose to use windows media whatever as the method of delivery…once again nothing wrong with it when done right. I personally made several very nice quality renders with it. But, when you try to squeeze it down to under 5mb and at a rate of 96- 221 kbps, it just don’t look right…
Now is it right for them to trash out videos on my site, if his videos aren’t that much better? Or am I just blowing smoke outta my ass for no apparent reason? Or perhaps, I should cut back on that extra cup of coffee in the mornings…*twitch*
Guess I just needed to vent…
