  • 2005-11-02 23:10:16 tomorrow's band practice is THE last for marching.............YES!!

    well we have one next tuesday.. but that one's like for 15 min to get ready for the Veteran's Day parade..


    Senior Appreciation(is that what it's called?) is gonna happen on this last football game.. where seniors walk down the middle of the football field while the announcer says ur name.. what college u plan to go to .. etc.


    also it's our homecoming game. so the band has to suffer. playing the song over and over forever it seems.. our arms will tire like they've never tired before.. the worst part is that i have the 1st chair part.. as in.. the highest part. meaning.. I have to play a solo. oh hell no. i'm like the worst among the rest of the seniors.. I can hardly get the high E(in the brackets) (.. damn u marques and brennan for making it into pre-court.. lol)


    basically. BLAH!!

    i'm not gonna talk about the whole who deserves to be #1 on the top 10% thingy b/c i don't want some crap controversy start up again

    besides you can't realy compare whisper of the beast and euphoria. both are excellent videos in their fields..

    not that anyone cares about this post anyways. on to somehting else..

    and then do ap phsyics and ap calculus homework.. wtf...

    I still gotta find out from someone about what the calculus homework actually is..

  • oh yeah 2005-10-31 01:08:43 check this out about how I see these, what some people call "mainsteam" anime

    FMA > Bleach > Naruto

    all based on quality as how I see it.. note.. I dunno if you'll call me biased or not.. but I've really liked each of these series a lot at some time or another.. so they're about at even grounds with me..

    FMA on top.. best underlying story, best character development.. urprises mostly in the story.. which is a major plus in all cases.. honesly can't think of anything wrong.. but only b/c it's been like a year since ive seeen it.. oh wait. n/m yeah the last few eps were kinda weird..

    Bleach pretty cool characters, etc.. but it's mainly just fight, story, fight, story...

    Naruto.. u guys think all these ninja strategies are cool.. but.. it's not really that hard to think up strategies like that... all these ninja strategies make people go "ooh" but i'm just like. "meh.. just one possibility"...

    anyone can just take one intense moment and turn it around.. "Oh no.. he used this attack. but haha, i do this and that and now i'm fine.." it's alljust make it up as you go.. everyone's not gonna think up the same thing.. duh...

    characters? blah blah, everyone's got a sad past.. boo hoo..

    we're going through about almost a year of fillers!?? oh hell no..

    repetition at it's best.... kage bunshin no jutsu.. and then surprise!(not really) hey look it's Rasengan!


    basically i'm just assuming that everyone likes naruto for it's characters..

    but one specific one taht ticked me off was.. this one dude said that Euphoria would've been better without the effects b/c it was distracting..

    maybe cause ur on crack? anyways, yeah.. I forgot what someone said, but I seriously agree with that person whoever basically said "people that rant on effects videos only do that b/c they can't make the effects themselves"

    I tried to watch euphoria and think of it without effects just normal cuts and fades

    boring.. it leaves a lotta emptiness going along with the beats.. etc.. the video did have that one section with no effects at all for awhil(except fades..duh) and that was a pretty sweet part.. but the rest.. yeah.. without effects.. it'd just be like any every day good video with fades only.....

    it's funny cause people that are into just that whole Fade only videoss thing? what if every video was just made with cuts and fades.. the really good ones wouldn't stick out as much b/c watching every video that's basiclaly the same damn thing would be boring..

    I think i'm gonna go for "Yes Effects" but I don't mean it as entirely.. but just effects are there to give us something different, unique. blah blah.. etc

    anyways, i don't feel like ranting on this anymore as it's just gonna get repetitive.. so. g'night
