I'm tired of hearing some people say "my valentines day sucked"
what makes it worse is that I'm still hearing these from a few of the same people every once in awhile still.. wtf
i mean.. come on, why did it suck? was it b/c u didn't have a real valentine to give something to? is this one day really so different from other days where ur just fine, but valentines day has to be the day ur bummed out about crap like that?
all I can say is that my valentines day was just a normal day to me, nothing wrong.. though it was interesting to see all the love around and all.. especially that bigass teddy bear Sean brought to give to Katina

oh yeah, how bout this 3 day weekend? i need it, I need to recover cause i'm still not used to these 5 day weeks since we had 4 weeks of 4 day weeks in january - 2006-02-12 19:10:30 about saturday.... playing the Initial D arcade game finally paid off

lol we got an rating of Excellent on our Brass Choir, better than I expected
I'm still not putting our hopes up on the trumpet quartet tomorrow though -

I got two ensembles coming up. I plan on looking real low here b/c in both of the things I'm in, we hardly/not really had any practice together at all, really, and most everyone seem unconfident about their parts... so...
Brass Choir
When: Friday
Predicted Rating: Good
Comment: the more people, the harder it is to play music together, and we havn't had that much practice and I still notice a few people that start some parts too early or too late, so this isn't gonna be good
Trumpet Quartet
When: Saturday
Predicted Rating: Good(.....or Fair?)
Comment: The amount of time we've practiced on this song altogether.. is nothing to the amount of time we practiced together for the Brass Choir.. and we hardly practiced for that either.. and plus, this song is weird and it sucks
.... so much for our band director wanting us to get a minimum of Excellent ratings =P
