I'm on such a high today.
Made a silly 25 second comedy video, which cheered me up. I'd link it but I dont know how many hits I'd get so I better not. PM me if you want a 4mb mpg copy.
I also watched the Akon doc... good lord that was much craziness. AWA will be a blast.
oh and to top it all off I just watched some crazy otaku kung fu action. Life is good.
I'm so looking forward to meeting people. I haven't actually thought about the events that could be happening at AWA simply because there's so many people I'm looking forward to meeting. I think the only thing I need to know is how much alcohol I'm allowed to bring to the states - I might be bringing another bottle in as a present, not sure, so if anyone can answer that one that would be great.
I don't know if I can get my current major video done for the expo - I'm just not sure if I have all the footage. I think I might just have enough and it would be good to get some closure on these ideas before starting the next major thing. We'll see. -

Anime Weekend Atlanta here I come.
I can finally confirm that (unless I suffer a horrible accident) I will be at AWA. I got my flight tickets in the post today.

I'm arriving Thursday afternoon and leaving monday afternoon so I should be able to go to any amv meets that are planned. If there are any other creators out there who enjoy fancy dining, then let me know because I'm up for going to a real restaurant at some point :)
Oh yeah, this is going to be lots of fun. Staying with Himiko on the Thursday and Sunday nights and with Machine, Himiko and Wonka on the Friday and Saturday nights. I have the distinct impression that I'm going to spend most of the convention drunk. *shrugs* what can you do, eh?

The artist is called ワダアルコ but I can't really tell you more than that as I can't decipher his "about" page - nor could I decipher what he wrote when he emailed me except that I could use the image for a week.
Oh well, it's great stuff anyway. Note: some of it is slightly erotic and some of it is definitely phallic. None of it is pornographic though but there is nudity.
There was a one I was going to do this week but I still haven't got permission from the guy. If I don't get an email I'll just plug the link and put up my own profile image for that week. -

Well, that was a rather damp experience today.
The celing collapsed in my room today in a heavy rainstorm right above me. My desk was flooded, pretty much but it all fell on the keyboard so the actual monitor and PC were completely safe.
A few hours reorganising the room and hanging a hairdryer above the keyboard everything is right as, er, rain.
It's odd being at the other side of the room with a bucket catching rain behind me. I'll call the insurance comapny tomorrow.
Well, it could have been MUCH worse. ^_^;;
OK, back to being a mouse potato.
