    I don't know if it is something that has crossed your mind or if you've heard this particular line of criticism of CK, but I'd thought I'd mention it here just in case you haven't heard the argument before.

    There is a strong argument in favour of the fact that nobody actually hears Kane say "rosebud". The nurse comes in after the words were said and they were admittedly uttered under his breath. It is often theorised by critics that this, in fact, places the movie not in the realm of real-life documentary after the man's death but instead puts the events of the movie in Kane's head - as if the events we see are Kane imagining how people would, or wouldn't understand his life.

    Obviously it doesn't necessarily effect your interpretation, if anything it strenghtens it, but I thought I'd mention it as it is interesting to see the film as being a self-analysis by Kane on his deathbed rather than a media postmortem.

    Anyone who draws a girl snorting cocaine that are in lines spelling the name of the site is cool in my book. There's everything you could want on this site - cuteness, kinkyness, oddness, prettyness, ugliness. Ugly old trouts and cutre little girls are in equal proportions depending on the artists mood. Oh, the artist? Nano Sasaki, age 22.

    This site also has some other truly awesome websites in the link section, which I will be pointing to in the weeks to come.
