    The seatbealts are playing away happily, the weather's not too bad from the inside, I've had a good giggle at some websites....

    Everything's chilled.

    It's the end of term in Oxford so I don't have to do any subbing for the anime club which is great. I'm just listening to tunes and and getting more ideas for making amvs.

    There's something so satisfying to putting some footage you love to some music you love and it working.

    Shame it takes me so long to make videos. I think people like my vids. They aren't the kind of videos people worship you for but I'd like to think that they have their warm fuzzy moments occasionally. Even when they are rushed mushy things like the FLCL one was.

    I think the next thing for me to do is to take a trip to a US con. I don't really have any idea whatsoever as to what a real amv screening is like. It will probably really open my eyes.

    I had to throw something short together to use in demonstrating how amvs are put together, and I think that considering I had to force myself to make some kind of video to this song (which was the shortest useable song I could find) I think it's come out well.

    All my other stuff is done too - Cowboy Bebop DVD is re-authored with english subs, same with Jin Roh. Love and Pop is done, Kodocha, Kare Kano and Inu Yasha.

    Yep, I'm 3 days early and quite a happy bunny. Even this bloody video I had to make came out alright in the end. I'm tempted to do a little more work on it but as it's just for the con demo and I said I wouldnt spend more than 4 hours on it I think it will just have to stay like that and I'll say any objectional bits are just creative preference :P
