I've noticed too. I figured it's either
a) Phade is too busy
b) the new banners are being saved for website v2
c) people are finding it too difficult to make banners with the new logo.
I doubt it would be c) because the ability for people to make crap banners on this site can be quite high at times :P

I think there's much more anime than music at this site and that's a bit of a shame. I don't see many people going nuts over new cds or anything like that, which is a shame cause music is half of what this is all about.
I get particularly puzzled when I see people posting on the Video Suggestions forum asking for good songs for an anime. Its usually the other way around for me - I know TONS of great songs that I want to make vids out of but I can't think of the perfect anime to do it ^_^
On the other hand, music discussions around here could easily become flame barbecue city.
