"Fancy clothes though, has MacHeath babe, so there's not a trace of red"

EK: the KoHD is about 99% FILM, so you should be albe to just do ForceFILM in dvd2avi and not have many interlacing problems at all.
I did the forceFILM and there was only one point that I could find interlacing and that's when Spike jumps onto the monorail. So, I decided to put donald graft's Decomb filter for avisynth into the script and use his FieldDeinterlace postprocessing on the movie which removed any random interlaced frames where the cadence was lost a little but left all the other frames alone.
In any case, that method gave me a perfect looking print of the movie, you might want to give it a try.
Damn... I still want to do a Vicious - Mac the Knife black and white swing bebop video.

"itte mitai to omoimasen ka oooh oooh oooooh"

OK, I guess the lyrics weren't of THAT big a surprise.
Sometimes I forget that I'm surrounded by anime fans.
Anyway, EK, as I'm a little far away to give you a cookie, here's a great cookie recipe.
I'm in an oatmeal mood at the moment and these are classic but you can always add some rasins or some nuts for some variety.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 cups quick cooking oats
Directions:
1 In a medium bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in oats. Cover, and chill dough for at least one hour.
2 Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C (375 degrees F). Grease cookie sheets. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls, and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Flatten each cookie with a large fork dipped in sugar.
3 Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

OK, as promised it's comedy link time.
Mind you... some of these are scary/funny if you see what I mean.

"Hey, betcha didn't know that"
2002-04-05 06:29:36
EK: You have poisoned my mind. You are to blame for at least two things today:
1) Me singing I Love Beans all day and getting much the same expression that spike gives in your video from passers by.
2) I can no longer watch the opening of KoHD without thinking of beans. Maybe THEY are the best ingredient in a stew ^_^
It seems that Marco really liked the video I made for him and Cristina - I'm really really glad. It was a rush to do but it was worth it.
I'm a little disturbed that Machine was able to find pics of EK that EK didn't know how he got them... o.o;; weird. Is this the fate of amv celebrities?
Anyway, stay tuned for some comedy link posts later to get you ready for the weekend.
*wanders off singing I Love Beans like a senile old man....*

"I think it's time we blow this scene...."

EK: ROFLOL
I bet that move made the whole thing sooo worthwhile. I can imagine myself grinning all the way home after pulling a stunt like that.
And Tank! coming in as well...
All I can say is, there is a god and he likes some badass movies.
Remind me to buy you a drink if I meet you. (AWA?)
A big shout to Rebus Valstay who let me grab hold of EK's latest... ahhh there are some things that are just inspired.
It actually reminded me that I never did get round to doing that Bebop movie/Batman movie thing. I know the link between the two is so obvious but I guess I just wanted to see spike zooming through the skies to Danny Elfman and Jack Nicholson as Vincent.
Anyway, I've been working on a rather special project today.... I'll let everyone else in on it later today.
