More Video Stuff:
Currently only a divx version is available due to size resitrictions. However I might be able to upload an mpg version tomorrow so EK you can see that one then ^_^
I actually sorta chickened out with the lipsynch thing. I start the video with it but then realise that the video will be more interesting filled with pretty context images. So there's only one lipsynch scene, but at least it associates the narrative.
I'm not sure if I can send this to cons - people will laugh despite the fact that's its supposed to be serious. Hopefully other people will appreciate Kodocha's more gentle moments - it is a shojo show afterall.

shonendizzycow - it was shown at the awrds ceremony to thousands of people. I think that qualifies as being premiered :)

OK, new video is done - or at least the first pass is. I still have to do some lip-flap removal but yeah it's finished. Very simple this one.
I'm tempted to call it "awwwwwwwwwww"

Thankfully it is a total antithesis to my recent videos, which is good, but I still don't know if it is any closer to acheiving my ultimate goal: making cute girls go 'wai wai'
I don't think I'll be getting laid as a result of this video... not only because it deals with a romantic relationship between a child and a grown man. ^^;;;
MJ might like it though :P
I may do a per-request release of it once I've done the final encode. If people don't fall asleep, I might send it to Ayacon :D -

You know, I might ditch this amv on the grounds that it is going to be the dullest thing ever.
There's slow moving but this is almost deceased. I think rigamortis is setting in.
I think I could do this video in half an hour if I wasn't drunk :)
As a result I think that if I do release it it's going to be a very small file... which shouldn't be too bad as this has to be the slowest moving footage in the history of amvs ¬.¬ -

Starting on my new amv today and I promise to do simple cuts.
It's a romance video with a very slow ballad so I'm going to try and have it all as effect-free as possible... but I still can't resist the idea of compositing certain scenes. Gah. I'm cursed to forever think beyond the content of the original anime.
See, I just do whatever my imagination comes up with - and more often than not this doesn't exist in the source so I have to create it somehow. However, there seems to be a bit of a growing dislike of "effects" videos. I presonally love both types of videos but I am getting a reputation for effects that leads to the conclusion "all style no substance".
Well, for once I'd like to make a simple video - as basic as they come.
It will probably turn out to be terminally dull, but such is life.
Also, is there such a thing as a serious video with lipsync? Do they work? I guess SSI is one, although the nature of the video is lighthearted. I dunno, I might try it - but it might be a bit too much. I'd like this video to be sort of like a musical... hmmm... we'll see.
Anyway - to the Premiere Cave!
