Well, I had a really fun week seeing friends - but now that I'm home I just want to be back there (everyday I dont have a mission I get weaker and everyday charlie squats in the bush he gets stronger etc...)
I just realised that there's nothing really for me here. There's certainly no jobs and all my local friends seem to be migrating to the south. I'm just not "living" here. I feel like I'm in a rut.
OK ok ok ok no more self-obsessed whining. I promise.
Oh, in anime fandom news, my translators are now free of commitments and are available for more translation work!!! I'm very tempted to get Eisuke to sub the SD Gundam stuff, as he's a big Gundam fan. I might ask Eriko if she'll translate the Utena Musical for me... heheh, that will be fun ^_^

Unfortunately everything is the way I left it ¬.¬ Why do I have to have a mad packing rush only to return to my room looking like a tip.
Oh well, it'll be good to sleep in a real bed again. A week of sleeping on the floor is too much... Marco, I don't know how you can cope - buy that damned matress!
Thankfully I'll be able to get back to my amv reviews now. Silly me didn't have quite enough time to finish them before I went so I still offer a few reviews. They're all pretty good videos though, so it should be fun enough.
Wow, now that I've done SRV I really should be getting back to my other projects of which there are numerous. Man, lots and lots to do - this FLCL audio drama is going to be insanely difficult, I think - much more than the EVa one was. Well, I'll give it a shot.
Anyway, I have to get my life in order a little and wade through some emails. -

Don't worry about AMV making - you'll get back into it. It looks like Hsien has and ErMaC has got back into it this last few weeks too. I think the creative lull for amv making is officially subsiding so try out that new HD and see if it gets you back in the AMV saddle ^_^
Got the translation for the FLCL audio dramas today... Oh My God How Weird!!!!
this scene is some kind of weird FLCL flashback with Mamimi's VA doing a girl called Mamiko who reminds Naota of Mamimi in a rather odd way. I think for the Picsub I'm going to do this scene in the style of a rennai game.

It's only been up a week and it's aready got over 50% of the hits that my oldest video has!!!!
Unfortunately, the result is that what little hosting I had for the video is now gone.... finito... dead. So there's no hosting for SRV :/
Well, that's not entirely true. I have a version hosted elsewhere that I can point people to who are willing to review it but I can't tell many people that link. I'll also have an mpeg version so that those people who asked for one can see it, but that wont be a public link either.
Man... 961 hits in 7 days. That's scary stuff.
Well, with any luck it will be shown at Anime Expo soon so that will give some more people a chance to see the video. ErMaC has been kind enough to Proxy for me so provided everything happens as it shoul post-wise, it should be there. Woohoo!
Wish me luck. My first amv contest... pity I can't attend. Oh well, I can't wait for AWA... just lemme at that new comedy video, baby ^_-

On the other hand, my rendition of Ask DNA totally ROCKS! Even if I say so myself.
Well, it was certainly better than my rendition of the song quoted above.
Oh god.
Oh well, recovery tomorrow...... I hope. Well, we're out of wine anyway so there's nothing really left to damage us, except the bar that is 20 meters below me.
