"twenty-twenty-twenty-four hours to go... I wanna be sedated"

Yey!
AX have my amv. They haven't had time to check it, so *fingers crossed* hopefully it will be all ok.
My first competition... may well be one of my last but I thought I might as well try a competition once in my life.
So, here's hoping.
In other news... there is no other news. My life is tearfully dull right now. Seriously - I'm just so not interested in anything at the moment.
Sleep is probably the most interesting thing I could do right now.
ugh.

MeriC:
Interesting topic, that one.
BTW I was just wondering if you'd ever read anything on sociolinguistics because aspects of sociolinguistics have a very similar display of gender relationships found on the internet and it's very interesting to compare and contrast the sociolinguistic relationships of men and women to the kind of relationship expressed on the internet which is a different form of communication.
Anyway, sociolinguistics is great stuff mainly because it's simple subjects with really fascinating reasearch results. If you want a really good read on the subject of why people communicate the way they do, I highly recommend this book which has been reprinted in the uk but you can only get it second hand the the US at the moment:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/offering-page/ref=sdp_ab_ub/103-0947981-8483820?index=fixed-price&field-offering-type=used&field-asin=0582060621&field-status=open&size=25&rank=+price
it's called "Introduction to Sociolinguistic" by Janet Holmes and it's really interesting. I'm sure there's lots of other good books on the subject but hers was concise, interesting and detailed enough to be academic.
You'd be pleasently surprised to see that many of the features at play in the ever changing world of verbal communication are also true in binary form ^_^
Oh and if you liked the DiGi Charat reference in Excel Saga ep 1, you'll enjoy it when Deijiko actually appears later in the show ^_^

gambitt: jooooooooiiiin uuuuuuuuuussssss
Really, journal chat is fun. I'm possibly not enjoying it as much at the moment because after the death of my hosting thanks to Shameless Rock, I can't post any mp3s ._.
Oh well, I'm sure nobody ever listened to them anyway. Well, not for more than a few seconds.

MCWagner: Tenebrae is my fave Argento movie, I think. It's simple but filled with lots of elements that make him so fascinating - the voyeurism, the childhood traumas, the perversion. Plus, it has the best visual trick at the end - my god did that make me jump! ^_^;;;
Opera is good too, along similar lines but the ending is a little flawed. Worth a watch though. Suspiria is good but.... well... it's often comic due to the poor effects and the representaion of the occult. Fantastic opening though - gotta love that oppressive red and green colour scheme.
EK: boooooo bad HD, naugthy HD, on your rug.
