Well, I'm moving back to oxford...
tomorrow.
I'm going and my stuff is following me a week later. I'll probably be around in some sense or other but I don't know how frequently I'll get online.
It will be fun when I get back online though... BROADBAND!! woohoo!

It's finally released!!!!!
The guides that ErMaC and I have been working on for so long now are finally up on the org.
There's a lot of stuff but it's really worth it.
Enjoy :D

"since I dont have you- Happiness and I guess...."

Tim Park emailed me a virus today... which I guess means he's been infected with a virus :/
Unfortunately, stupid me opened it.
I normally wouldn't - the short email had bad spelling etc but
a) My virus scanner didnt think it was suspicious
b) It was called box.bat and had a file called mouse_hlp.bak with it. From this I jumped to the conclusion that it was to do with the new filter with a mouse interface he's doing ><
Unfortunately the reason for a) was because my virus scanner had crashed. Geh.
I realised pretty fast that it was a virus, as my CPU useage shot up to 100% and my HD started working overtime.
*reset*
It's all fixed now. It managed to infect every exe in Program Files... damn, it worked fast. Not a biggie, I can just reinstall them. The main problem was that I was in the middle of writing a guide and I hadn't saved, so all of the filtering settings that I'd carefully worked out have been lost.
Tim, you owe me one incredibly detailed guide on using smoothing filters and VirtualdubAVS beta3. :P
Oh well, back to square one.

betting... a mug's game and I completely agree.
However, occasionally you get a tip that's so good you can't really ignore it. Today I got a tip like that. 45 pounds (about 65-70 bucks I think) has been put down on a certain man to become the new manager of a local football (soccer) club.
According to my source, he's already signed the paperwork. Risky, I know.. but I'm fairly confident.
The odds I got weren't the greatest in the world but they weren't half bad either. We'll see.
