Time for happier things today.
Well, I had lots of fun fighting in the Bebop Photoshop War and prooving to the world that I can't use photoshop to save my life. :D
Watch the first to episodes of Abenobashi Magical Shopping District today and I must say I really enjoyed it. I don't think it's quite groundbreaking yet but it has lots of potential for originality, that's for sure.
I'm looking forward to the dvd release so I can appreciate Gainax's lovely animation on this show.
Oh and the opening theme rules - the mood of the op remeinds me of the Ask DNA Bebop movie op. There's so many gainax in-jokes though... a lot of the comedy is so referential, not really one for anime newcomers ^_^ -

I very rarely get depressed about things. I'm not a miserable person, I'm fairly level headed and objective about life most of the time.
Then you run into money problems.
It seems that the bank have decide that in 10 days I wont have an overdraft which means that I have 10 days to find 750 pounds, which is about $1,125.
I'm currently unemployed.
Oh happy day.
I'm going to have to try and sort something out with the bank but I'm in serious trouble - with no sign of a job in sight and no other way of getting any income I think my credit record is going to be severely tarnished.
...and there was me hoping to go to AWA this year.
So, if anyone wants to empoly me for PR work, proof-reading, literature dissretaion writing, online journalism or even just old-fashioned prostitution, I'll accept any offers right now. -

Much wrongness was made today. The first half of the vid is kinda crap but I think the ending's pretty good. Hopefully this will mean the Hentai/Adult section of the Mindwarpet contest will be able to go ahead (that was the idea). I've just finished the upload.
I now have the urge to do another Bebop Photoshop image.

It seemed only yesterday (when will that movie come out on dvd?) when I reported my 1000th profile hit. Well, actually it was more like two months ago but I've now reached 1979 hits which is the year I was born in.
To think, a large population of the site will be 80's kids. There's some I will be able to say "I was buying records before you were born!". Just don't tell me that there's members here born in the 90's because that would be way too weird.
Anyway, I'm wondering whether to celebrate 2000 hits. I'll think about it.
Oh yeah, must make that "Make AMVs Not War" banner for forum use. I think I'll do it in this demo version of painter I got - I wanna try that program out it looks awesome. I'm not a great artist by any means but it's fun.
I hope Marco is enjoying himself in Italy. He should be, the lucky thing. I could do with being in Italy right now. I could go for some tomatoey-olivey bruchetta and a good bottle of red wine right now. Damn, I think I am going to have to find some red wine now too - it's the perfect night for it.
Summer's great. The only displeasure is that all the flowers and plants are getting it on and what do I get? Red eyes, sneezing and athsma. Oh well, it's warm with a cool breeze and Aretha is sounding divine.
