  • "My brain is a dumb submarine" 2002-06-29 08:23:06 Well, with everyone now having access to v2 (heheh) I can announce a new feature to all of you who read my journal.


    Profile Image of the Week!!!


    Yes, now that you can upload an image to your profile (max width 400 pixels for those who havent tried yet) I will be changing mine on a weekly basis to show you some pretty, interesting or just plain cool art.

    This week: original FLCL promotion artwork (click the profile link above to see)

    This image is scanned by me from a limited edition poster that came with preorders of episode 5 in Japan. I haven't seen this picture anywhere else and I think it rules (I have it framed on my wall)

    The artist is pretty predictable for Gainax, so I dont think I even need to mention who it is ^_^


    VegettoZ: I really hope you make it into the AX lineup. I know they've been bad at getting the emails out - I know they have my vid but I dont know if they've been able to play it cause they were too busy to confirm that.


    Fellow AMV creators - would anyone be interested in joining a 30x30 amv project. I'm thinking of compiling 30 amvs by 30 creators that are 30 seconds (or thereabouts) long. The theme is "anything you like" and it can be as whacked out, strange, funny, clever, disturbing as you like.

    I'm not announcing the project yet - I'm just testing the water so if you are interested either leave a message in your journal, AIM/YIM/ICQ me or PM me on the forum.

    Now, go and have fun making videos! That's what it's all about!!!

    I think I'm going to have to agree - he is one helluva bass player.

    It's good looking yet still clean and simple. I love the fact that it's still all CSS.

    The most graphics-heavy part is probably the new forum but that's easy to fix with a new template. I've seen some really cool minimalist templates for phpBB so it might be nice to get some of those installed.

    Anyway, back to checking out the site stuff...
