  • 25 With A Hint Of Ball And Chain 2009-08-22 00:03:12 Well, it's about that time of year for me again. 1 year older and another year wiser. October 13th is my 25th birthday and I'm rather nervous. A few month's after I turn 25 I walk down that little red carpet and stand in front of a priest with my new ball and chain. Haha. I don't know whether to be nervous or excited. The downside is, I now need permission to go out and do things with my friends. The upside however, is that she loves making AMV's and watching anime just as much as I do. So, I think it balances out.

Another upside I've received this week is that I found out what was wrong with my external and fixed it myself with no expense to me. It turns out that the problem with the external was one of the cords in the back of it. I just replaced it with a new one and BAM!! It turned right on. So, now I have all of my space back and then some.

    Updates:

On the first of September, I will be going to Suncoast in my local mall and will be picking up the .Hack//TRILOGY DVD. I'm so stoked. It finally came out and I will now be able to edit with DVD footage of it. Thus increasing the quality 10 fold XD However, another downside to that is, it was never English dubbed, which just blows. I thought it would have been cool to have the same VA's from the G.U. series return to voice everyone. But alas, my hopes hopes are dashed.
  • New Rig........But Lottsa Pwobwems 2009-08-13 17:58:17 I just recently got a new rig. But in the advent of that, a whole slew of problems occured.

    1. My external went bye-bye. On the external was everything from Incomplete Vegas Project Files to a slew and I mean a huge amount of anime that I used for editing that was already filtered and fake avi'ed out and ready for editing with.

    2. *Sigh* On top of having to re-install every editing program I owned, among the most troubling was Sony Vegas 7 and Adobe After Effects CS3. The problem with Vegas was that the media manager fails to work in Vista Home Premium. I don't know why. Not that I ever use it. And AE CS3 was another one. The renders for the Animation pre-sets refuse to play when selecting them in Bridge. I can't figure it out and it's nerve racking.

    3. My internet still sucks so most of the time in my apartment complex I can only get on during the night. For some reason though, the internet has been working all day and at a pretty decent speed. But it sucks for uploading videos and stuff to the org, among other sites.

Really no other problems besides the fact that I can't get AE CS3 to render in the color I make my stuff no matter what color setting I give it to render as. Always renders either very bright white or orange and red. I don't know why.
