My stepmother hates me. she calls me irresponsible, threatens to throw me out of the house. My father isn't doing anything in my defense. He agrees with everything she says. And if I do something wrong, she doesn't tell me. She sends him.
I work two jobs. One of them, the inventory job, is over for the month because next month the next quarter of the year comes around. We have everything going that month. My job at cashiering has cut my hours because we have so many new people they hired to replace the ones who quit. And I come home and get constant lectures about how I don't work enough. How I'm lazy and irresponsible, and I don't do enough around the house.
Maybe I should just go to bed right when I get home. Keep odd hours to avoid them. I can't talk to them anymore. Every try at being sociable ends up in me getting letured and yelled at about something. If their day goes bad they blame me. And now Chris, my stepmom, is saying that she's gonna start charging me rent when I start school. To "teach me responsibility". As if she doesn't find enough ways to drag money out of me as it is. I should demand the $550 my dad has owed me for almost 2 years.
I hate it here. But not as much as I hate myself. Maybe they are right. Maybe I am just a shitty person. -
DVDs and Evanescence

DVDs came. Sadly I had to work, so I couldn't glomp onto the UPS worker (who, I might add, delivered it to the wrong house on our block. The neighbor brought it over.) But I sat down and watched part of Gravitation, and then I turned it off. I figure me and Kerri should sit together and make fun of the horrible subs together. Direct translation from the kanji. Even the names of the characters are translated into words. Once you get past that, it's actually pretty decent.
Saw Evanescence live at Summerfest the other night. Nearly got crushed in a crowd of people. We were near the stage, but everyone in front was standing on the bleachers and picnic benches, so we couldn't see anything. And then everybody tried to push foreward to get closer to the stage, and I was getting trampled, and elbowed in inapproprait places. And then some underage asshole spilled beer on my arm. And someone was wearing some heap perfume that was threatening to bring on an asthma attack. So we high tailed it out of there and stood near the back where we couldn't see, but we could hear, and the band started playing. a couple songs later we were being elbowed and shoved and we just gave up. Went and wasted money on food, went to a nearby stadium where some stupid salsa dancers were trying to teach a mostly disinterested group how to dance, and we discovered that we could see the band from the top of the bleachers there. It was a perfect view.
I'm supposed to go to the bank, and then over to Kerri's today, but it's raining and I'm a pedsestrian, and there's nothing like trying to make multiple bus trips in the middle of a thunderstorm. I think I'll cancel and go tomorrow. Rain makes me lazy.
I can't believe how pissy some people on this board are. Not that I was expecting any less. After all, any board online will attract a variaty of people with different personalities, beliefs, and morals, and in that mix there is guaranteed to be a handful of close minded, set in their ways, stubborn people who believe everyone should share their views. On the boards I've been to before, though, they are usually ignored unitil they leave.
DNAngel got licensed. Bad bad thing. I can no longer get it. Pisses me off, cuz it was just getting good. They should wait until the entire series is released before they license something.
I want to go raid the comic book store, but that requires a bus and a 9 block walk in the thunder and rain. *sadness* -

but I don't wanna sleep. My computer is fucked up because there were city wrokers replacing the light poles on our block, and they cut the power for an hour without telling anyone they were going to. So My computer, which I'd left on so Kazaa could give me the Tokyo Mew Mew episode which is now refusing to download, died suddenly. It didn't like that.
On the plus side, i may have a website soon. Kerri and I are buying domain space. We'll have her manga on it, possibly an ezine, anime and manga reviews, links to scanlated manga pages, and direct download sites. Which reminds me, I should check Dew Drop Garden and see if she's posted that Full Moon Wo Shosite thing which is probably horribly misspelled. But at five to midnight it's forgivable.
My DVDs are coming!! Whoooooohoooooo! I should have them by the end of the week. hopefully. Then there will be a Gravitation Fest, followed by a Comic Party Fest. And there will be much rejoycing. And much japanese candy. And possibly a few kidnapped bishounen.

Do you think it's wrong to torture Melissa by posting scathing comments on her blog? I've managed to piss her off so bad that she has completely ditched being friends with Kerri. (ten points! Whoooo!) If that girl makes Kerri cry one more time I'll fucking go to Madison and pound her.
In other news- I finally have a day off. The comi book store is just begging to be raided. ^_^ But I have to do dishes first. *sigh* The ants in my house have mutated and are currently trying to overtake the house. I blame my step brother.
Organizing my anime files. I need another 100 pack of CD cases. I also need 4 cartridges of ink. And another 50 CDs or so wouldn't be a bad investment. Only problem is - - - $$$$. I have to wait until I get my paycheck next week.
I need caffeine.

anime!!!! Whoooohoooo!

Had 2 stores this morning, two yesterday. So Kerri came over, slept over both nights, and now my back is killing me. I slept on the hardwood floor both nights while she got the bed. She has a tendancy to sleepwalk, and she has problems with her knees, so I couldn't let her sleep on the floor. *sigh* I'll survive. I ordered Gravitation DVDs online (Yeah!!!) and Comic Party DVDs, too. I've downloaded the first 2 eps off Kazaa and I decided that I HAVE to get Comic Party. It's just too funny.
Me and Kerri had a Ranma 1/2 fest. We stayed up late both nights watching episodes. We got through the first season and halfway through the second. Then we had to call it quits. She went home early from work today. she was feeling bad, and she had a fever. I hope she's okay.
OH! I finally got around to writing down all my anime files on CD. These are not including DVD, and not all of them are the complete series.
