As a counterbalance to the large puddle of drool collecting in front of Euphoria, I wish to state a claim that large amounts of effects for their own sake do not a video make. ^^
In other news I'm collecting anime and re-editing audio for video reworkings when I ought to be reading Takemoto Kotarou manga for an undergraduate dissertation comparing gay manga with yaoi... >.< - Fits and starts 2003-02-23 17:06:20 Approximately ten months later... I have another video done. ^^; Another Sisters one, I'm afraid, but the next three are Jpop ("Party Night"), Jpop ("Paradox") and, oh look, Rosetta Stone. No goth here, nope, none at all...

... ensued after telling a friend I had the second KareKano/Sisters video pretty much done. Around 24 hours after telling him I had the *first* one done...
"More" was a lot harder than I thought - the reasonably sized edit doesn't actually have that much useful footage, particularly when the best "Arima Is Damaged" material had been used up in the last video, so I wasn't particularly keen on repeating things. A few clips got recycled, but not that many.
Now 06:00, JST. I should go to bed. *slump*
Tomorrow, er, later - see about renting Utena DVDs from Tsutaya in Kamiyashiro...

Things to remember:
- Deinterlacing pathological footage before Premiere takes far too long and is pointless in the long run.
- Metaphysics is FSCKING hard to get across. Let alone understand.
- It Always Takes Longer Than I Think
Apart from that, I rather like the results with "When you don't see me". Much more in the way of effects than I usually use, but at least 50% of those are covering up for video flaws. (The doors held closed were blue in the original, and were fairly noisy - adjust the hue so that it looks like it's daylight and the noise is suddenly very very visible...)
Now, on with the next one.
