Just got back from the design conference. Really amazing.
Now I'm not sure how many of you out there understand how cool this is, but I got to meet and talk with David Carson (Even managed to get his signature ;D). Really great designer and I respect what he has done for this profession, he's really nice in person and his methodology is admirable.
Many other great speakers over the 2 days I was there, I learned a lot, got even more ideas and came out feeling like I've grown as a designer, and I'm more inspired than ever.
Anyway, that's it for now, I'm pretty tired so I'm gonna head out. Night org. -

Ehh... I'm gonna be gone for the next 2 days, out of town to attend a design conference with some friends. Really interesting stuff, as boring as it may sound in words. Anyway, enough of that, have some sloppy artwork drawn by someone who hasn't had nearly enough sleep.

Haven't had much time to draw recently, life's been pretty busy. I'm gonna be out of town for the next 2 days so I figured I may as well take this opportunity to scribble some before I leave.

Yeah they're lazy. The good news is that I have a break coming up after next week, so you can expect a flood of badly drawn Bakemonogatari fanart when that comes. -

Logo nominations are up. Check them out, quite a few decent submissions in there.
Not going to single any particular logos out, but there seem to be a lot of submissions falling trap to the typical visual cliches associated with AMVs, and it seems like a lot of people just ended up going with the first idea that they got. However, as I said, there are a number of decent ones in the lot, and I can already tell which ones are going to be crowd pleasers.
I look forward to seeing the top 5, should be interesting.
