  • SasuNaru - My Personalized Theory 2007-05-27 18:10:20 Now, some people may think that two guys in anime can't love each other, speaking that Sasuke and Naruto have alot of match ups like Sakura, Hinata, Orochimaru, Itachi, Ino, etc. Well, you know what, I think it is the perfect couple. Why do you ask? Well, alot of people prefer straight rather to yaoi, but yaoi is just another term for two boys in love, not kissing and all the other stuff they could do in another room, yeah my point exactly, that's mainly what people think. But even though in the third episode where Sasuke and Naruto accidentally kiss, I think SasuNaru more of Shounen-Ai, which is lighter than yaoi. Here I explain why SasuNaru/NaruSasu is the main pairing that Kishimoto is trying to reveal to us.

    -Their last names might give it away. Uzumaki and Uchiha are both spelled with a "U", and have something common between them. "Uzumaki" in japanese means spirals, and "Naruto" means spiraling winds, thus together his name means "Spiraling Winds." Sasuke on the other hand, his last name, "Uchiha" forming from the japanese term: "Uchiwa" meaning fan, and "Sasuke" meaning special, puts together: Special Fan. Sasuke's Dad in the series tells him that the symbol of the clan is indeed a fan, and "controlls the wind". Thus, Kishimoto is hinting us that, a "Special Fan" controlls "Spiraling Winds".

    -As we all know, Naruto's preffered animal is always a fox, due to the Kyuubi Kitsune sealed inside of him. And Sasuke's preffered animal is a "Tengu" or crow, saying so in the very accurate forum: http://forums.narutofan.com/showthread.php?t=106576. There is a story in Japanese mythology called: The fox and the crow, in which a crow promises that after the winter is over, he will meet the fox again in spring, kind of relating into when he leaves for Orochimaru, and once he kills Itachi, he will come back.

    -The closest friends that had were eachother, and had both a horrible, and sad childhood. Naruto came everyday to check on Sasuke to see what he was doing everyday, and Sasuke became aware of that, thus them turning into the best of friends, and maybe even closer

    -This is a very large theory posted on the Naruto Fan Forums, but on episode 134, right before the scene transitioned to Kakashi and Pakkun, Sasuke stated: "I", and when the scene changed, he said "Love You". I know that might not be right, but you never know.

    -Mostly on Youtube, the only AMV's you might see are ones on the fight of Sasuke and Naruto. It gets quite annoying don't you think??

    -As childhood friends, showing on episode 134, they were holding each other's two fingers in a showing of a promise. That combination of fingers in Japan, as like we do in America with a "pinky promise" is a sign of promise too. Could you possibly imagine what they were promising each other? You tell me...O_o

    Now I hope you understand my theory, and will continue on living. But please give SasuNaru/NaruSasu a chance??
