Mac X
2003-09-16 14:22:24
While I'm waiting for my computer to be worked on at the school's Help Desk, I'll talk about the iMovie on my iBook. First of all, it has been upgraded. The iBook itself has also been upgraded: last year, it was Mac 9.2; this year, it's Mac X. On the computer, there's a chess game(perfect for playing while riding on the bus---not me, though). Now, the iMovie have some additional effects, like Mirror(I didn't like it when I first experimented with it before my computer betrayed me), Earthquake, Fairy Dust(very pretty), and "Cartwheel". The downside is that my computer has 6 GB on it when I first got it, and now it's 5.4 GB. Ouch. Maybe it's my cue to delete some avi files, and try to expand its memory.

The agony..!
2003-09-15 15:23:00
Oh! My school iBook crashed on me! Sort of. My in-the-works amv is on it, and I was adding different footage to it. Oh, well. Maybe I can delete it and try again---if the administrator hasn't, that is. To top it off, the battery in my car went dead on me. Don't ask me why I said that; I bet that the majority of the people reading this doesn't even care. Well, I do. Now I have to wait for my mom to pick me up. Time for me to do my homework---on paper. *shudders*

Desktop decision
2003-08-22 14:01:18
I'm not sure what kind of desktop to buy. It's a four-way tie between a Dell Dimension 4600, Apple iMac, HP Compaq Presario S4000T, and the Gateway Media Center PC. Oy! The sooner I get a computer, the better. Which reminds me: I'm still on a hunt for "free" web space for my crappy AMVs, along with a camcoder.

Getting Ready for School
2003-08-21 12:52:59
Only 1-and-a-half weeks until I'm a senior in high school. I was searching for free web space. Then again, there's no such thing as "free," if you know what I mean. Freedom isn't free. Oh, well. Searching for some scholarships is hard work, as well as registering for SATs and ACTs, but hey. Somebody has to do it.
I'm saving up for a desktop to make "advanced" AMVs. My head has been overswept with ideas. I might even use a song that nobody has thought of using(I already searched, and nobody used it. Which is sad, because it's a beautiful song, and I'm not telling). Maybe someday, I could make a Inu Yasha video with Inu Yasha's and Kagome's love theme(the first half---played in episode 13, when Inu Yasha was poisoned...*sniff* very pretty). Using various clips from episode 1-48 or so(need to get them on tapes---I don't care if they're dubbed; I'm not really listening to them anyway) with one of my poems in it. It's called "Only Destiny", and it's Kagome's dedication to Inu Yasha. Many people had read it, and they said it's very pretty(if anyone wants to read it, I'll post it).
"Only Destiny"(title courtesy of rosedrop13)
When I first saw you,
you were pinned to a tree
by an arrow.
You were sleeping tranquilly,
the wind gently blowing your hair,
and you had such cute, little puppy ears.
When I took the arrow out,
you awaken from your slumber
with vengeance in your eyes.
You mistaken me for someone else,
Saying that I killed you.
You then set out to annihilate me.
Finally, a miko placed a rosary around your neck,
And when you get out of hand,
Only one word can control you: Sit!
When I shot an arrow at the demonic bird,
It pierced through the Shikon no Tama,
shattering it into tiny pieces.
We set out to gather the shards.
Among the way,
we met a variety of interesting people.
A kitune, a perverted monk,
a demon exterminator---
we befriended them.
We also met up with evil demons and humans.
A wolf youkai, your older brother---
and your former lover.
As we made progress,
Feelings begin to change.
You no longer see me as the one you formally loved.
Your eyes grow softer
as you realize the truth,
and you protect me with your life.
Finally, the fated day arrived:
you proclaimed your love for me,
and I consider you my only destiny.
I might also make one for Aki Mikage. His poem: "Inner Demons" at http://morningbelles.tripod.com/innerdemons.html(or to someone with sanity problems)

AMV ideas
2003-08-02 16:07:34
It's been awhile since I updated my journal. My bad. It's not my fault, though, what with summer school and searching for a job and such. However, I was overswept with ideas for future AMVs. For instance, one second I was humming Sixpence None the Richer's "There She Goes", the next, I was hearing Spice Girls' "Spice Up Your Life." Oy, oy!
