- a crystal clear canvas is my masterpiece 2001-12-20 19:47:33 Just got back from "Redeye Anime Cafe." When we first pulled up it was kind of creepy, the lights in the whole shop are all red. Inside there were all these little sections with couches and tables, each with their own TVand PLaystation. For like 4 dollars you get to sit in a Viewing area and watch any anime they have in the store or play any video game they have as well. I bought Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure on DVD, well its not a real dvd its an hk but anyways. I guess I'll go watch that now.........
- Kockin On Heaven's Door 2001-11-28 23:09:23 I got "Made" and "Cowboy Bebop the Movie" all in one day. Who could ask for anything more. I watched Made first as to save the best for last. Well I have to admit I was kinda dissappointed. It wasn't that the movie was bad or anything but well....it was no Swingers. The movie was very funny at times its just that Vince Vaughn's (Probably spelled wrong) character just got so annoying after awhile I couldn't take it. But anyways on to the good shit...Cowboy Bebop. Now I don't really think I got the FULL experience of seeing Bebop the movie cause I guess it was a fansub or just a copy of a reallly bad DVD but even so it was Great. The only thing is well the FIGHT scenes was amazing I just wish there was more of them or that they were longer. Even though the movie supposedly did horrible at the box office in Japan I hope to GOD that this isn't the end of Bebop animation. It could quite possibly be my favorite anime, either that or Berserk I can never decide between the two. I'd like to talk more about the movie but I have an exam tomorrow I must study for.............later.
- Metal Gear 2001-11-23 12:53:22 Well me and Ed, Beat Metal Gear Solid last night. It took about 14 hours total to do it. Now there is no denying that it is one of or the greatest game ever made. BUt somehow I was kinda disappointed in the ending part of the game. I dunno if it was the EXTREMELY COMPLICATED plot (don't ask me exactly what the story turns out to really be about because I really couldn't tell you) or the 20 to 45 minute long cinematic videos that take place in the game. But the ending just didn't feel like the rest of the game, just not very Metal Gearish. It could have been though, I mean it was like 3 in the morning and we were trying to follow 45 minute long videos. The rest of the game was kick ass though everything the last game was and a LOT more. Thanksgiving was pretty cool also, Ed (my cousin thats why he was over on Thanksgiving) spent pretty much the entire time in front of MGS2 stopping only for turkey. OK well I to go to work soon........
- Concert 2001-11-21 11:32:06 Hey......I went to the Barenaked Ladies concert last. I dunno why, they aren't really my particular favorite type of music, but they put on one fucking awesome show. I was surprised, it was damn funny its like half music half standup comedy. Plus they just make up songs out of nowhere about people in the crowd, what they had for dinner etc. etc. I had a really good night, sometimes its good to mellow out, I might even buy their new greatest hits album now. But anyways, what else......Oh I've bcome addicted to Metal Gear Solid 2 over the past week, its such an awesome game I highly recommend it. I also picked up "Record of Lodoss War" since I heard such good things about it , I guess I'll give it a wirl. well thats about it I must go show now and prepare to do absolutely NOTHING at all in celebration of my day off of both school and work.
- GOOD GOD 2001-11-14 22:21:03 OHHH GOOD GOD!! Today was the most..........just......I can't explain the horror in words but I'll try. Well it started when my computer died, it just went "i'm sick" and fell over, ANyways. I needed to get it fix, so I figure i'd bring it to the person who built it for me. My EX girlfriends brother. Now me and this girl we willl call her "J Ball Z" (little nickname developed by Ed) well we didn't exactly have the most pleasant breakup in the world. And tonight I had to go to her house and drop my computer off. So I call the Dude, he says be at my house at 9:15 and drop it off. So I go, I get there and the whole house is dark, not a light on. So i try to call him on his cell phone to see if he's home. No good, I have no service. So I know I can't just leave so I carry the computer to the door and ring the bell and then jump back a few steps. I the hear a girls voice say something like "who's there?" Now I'm just like "OH FUCK." I see a little eyeball pop up at the window, she pauses as if to say "OH FUCK!" aswell. The door opens, not saying a word I just wave my hand. She goes to find her brother and then she comes back and tells me to go put it in his bedroom. Then she just disappears to somewhere and leaves in this dark house. I go walk through their house and put it in his room. On my way back I run into HER FATHER in the hall way in his PJs NO LESS. THe lights are off so he couldn't see me well. It went like this. Who's there? Umm ahhhh uMmmm Its me........ Who's me? Turn the light on so I can see your face... We conversed for a few moments about nothing I made it to the door and ran... I RAN!! to the car. OK well I guess it doesn't seem that horrific when your reading it but DAMN!!! I didn't like it. So............I'm gonna go now and eat some Barnum Animal Crackers and watch some TV.
