- Random 70's concerts 2008-07-30 17:18:06 Last night I went to see air supply... live.....and in concert... The only thing better then listening to air supply live is listening to air supply live as background noise to my best friend screaming air supply lyrics in my ear. Highlights of the night included simultaneous lighter raising to the climax of I cant live, to which everyone around laughed at us... seriously people its an air supply concert how do you not bring lighters? We all agreed that all those sappy love songs just depressed the hell out of us, to which my best friend shouted out 'This song makes me want to shoot myself in the face' during two less lonely people... A good time was had by all.
- Epic Lan Battles! 2008-07-05 22:48:00 My internet likes to go out randomly to which I have to figure out whats going on, then do my best to try and fix it... I call these epic lan battles, but really I dont understand whats been going on. Basically its frying cat5 like no tomorrow, and iv been through 2 network cards in less then 6 months. Everytime the power flickers and my computer shuts off or restarts the internet is knocked out after fooling around with it for awhile I find that its usually the internet cable that isnt working and I swap it out for another one, restart and im good to go. Either that or the little hub my internet is plugged into. I have my whole house jurry rigged internet wise. The modem is downstairs on the main computer as is the router, the router then comes upstairs to a hub, the hub splices the internet to my computer then out the window and downstairs to another downstairs computer. It doesnt look great but it works... for everyone other then me. I cant figure out why my computer has these problems yet none of the others on my little jurry rigged line does. Iv ruled out a virus so its definitely something with the hardware. Network card is new and had these problems before and after it, iv been through 4 new cat5 cables. All different brands, sizes and bought or obtained at different locations. All worked for a period of time but now do not. (though they do still work on other computers, just no longer mine) I would say its the hub, but the other computer getting its internet from the hub works fine. I is confused and not smart enough to figure it out. Helps?

I am thoroughly enjoying this logo competition, its given me something productive to do other then procrastinate editing :up:
My cousin is getting married and somehow this is costing me a shit load of money. Between gifts for all her various celebrations, engagement party, bridal shower, bachlorette party etc.. And a dress and shoes that I will never wear again, also the money you have to hand them for getting married... I never knew you were actually supposed to hand people cash at a wedding..... The wedding and honey moon are already paid for so what do you need all that cash for, the divorce fund? ... This happy little occasion has somehow cost me over $600...... I had planned to redo my computer but after all this I dont really think I have the cash to spare... I did pick myself up a new 500GB HD for $69. There was a fair deal of woot!-ing from me when I found it for that cheep. Was planning on getting new motherboard, processor and ram. Which Kariudo was nice enough to put together for me and would have been somewhere close to $200. Really not bad at all for a decent upgrade from what I have, so I hope I have enough left over to acquire said upgrade. Though ill prob try to save for a few weeks because I hate that $0 bank account syndrome.

@Surfsama - As if I didnt hate your job already now there nice enough to welcome you home from the mandatory korea-cation by making you plead for the job you already have? Does this mean youll be my Canada roomie? - Why do they keep giving these people money? 2008-06-17 20:59:37 I managed to make it 31 minutes and 11 seconds into Waking Life. An accomplishment I believe. Record holding? Quite possiblly. Never before have my eyes hurt from such horrible cinematography while my ears and brain suffered a similar fate due to the movies overbearing pretentious self absorbed ramblings. Its so full of itself it reminds me of that smog episode of south park. When will people learn that using big words does not make you insightful? Theres only one Kevin Smith and you are not him. I find it especially funny the amount of big words used either incorrectly or made up entirely. The only time any of the conversations in that movie would seem poignant is if your sitting in a circle waiting for the bong to get to you. The movie calls itself 'groundbreaking' because its done entirely with rotoscooping. ... Apparently by a 5 year old with a shaky hand. Id put up good money that most org members could do a much better job. Though with the movie as is id dare anyone to watch it on an acid trip. If it wasnt for There will be blood this would be the worst movie iv ever seen... and before you ask, yes I did go see the happening.
