  • banners 2011-01-21 01:35:04 I've really gotten into making banners. So far only one of the three that were voted on got accepted, I have plenty more. And plus, making banners is a fun way to pass time.
  • sadness 2011-01-12 14:27:34 The rate at which I think up ideas is far greater than the rate at which I can get them done. I have AMVs scheduled all the way till March of 2012 {Not kidding}.

  • Funimation's Black Butler AMV 2011-01-07 22:04:50 so yeah, I was on youtube, and I saw that Funimation officially uploaded a AMV that was was made in order to promote "Black Butler". The video is pretty random and lacks flow, but it is 100% legal and official. I'm still a little disappointed though. If Funimation ever does this again, it would be awesome if they contact a bunch of AMV editors and have a contest to see who could make the best video. And the winner's video could become an official trailer or possibly a special feature/ extra on the DVD release. I would love to participate in something like that.

    Here is the video

Anyway, the reason why I started this thread is to ask a question. Do you think that someday AMV editors could be freelance editors for companies like Funimation. I know about the 4 AMVs that were put on ADV's final release of Noir, but it always seemed like a one time thing. Do you think that the AMV community (mainly the org) has enough power and influence to persuade Funimation to do this more often. Could AMV editing someday become a career? Or is this simply a impossible dream?

I say that we all need to like and or favorite that AMV. Even if you don't feel that it is all that good, we need to promote it. If Funimation feels that the AMV is bringing Black Butler a lot of attention, we become one step closer.

  • Happy New Year 2011-01-01 10:19:07 Happy New Year everybody

Here is my New Year AMV. I made this AMV to celebrate 2 things. The obvious one would be to celebrate the New Year, and the one not so obvious would be to celebrate the end of my 5th year of AMV editing. It was on December 31st 2005, that I made my first AMV, and since then the hobby have become very special to me. Anyway, hope you all enjoy
