  • Day 3 of 'Lost Ones' 2005-12-03 02:06:44 Went through all 90 minutes of the movie and made time marks for anything that really stuck out to me and I thought I could use. I think I have something like 135 marks. Started to pull some footage today, and finished up the first 5 seconds of the intro. Hopefully I'll have at least the intro finished by the time this weekend is over, I have to figure a few more things though for the next part, so that's why I'm done for tonight. I'm also debating whether I should do the end soon or not so I don't feel rushed when winter break rolls around.
  • Day 2 of 'Lost Ones' 2005-12-01 00:56:18 Did some preparing for my video on the bus down to Petersburg today. Just did timing type things with the song, and conducted a couple more survey with some of my peers. Also got the audio stuff worked out today. Hopefully I can get some more work done tomorrow. Tis all for now.
  • Day 1 of 'Lost Ones' 2005-11-28 23:11:45 So I find myself back on AMV.org. It's definitely been a while, except now I'm going to try my hand at making them. My culminating project this year has to do with the creation of AMVs and aspects of directing, so hopefully things go well. I guess my first official day of working on this project of mine started today, when I finally went out and got the DVD. This won't be my first time working with Premiere, I fiddled around with it a lot. I wanted to be acquainted with it at the least before I started with my own. I'm going to do a dramatic video with footage from 'The Place Promised in Our Early Days' set to 'Change the World' by Anberlin. My goal is to have it finished before December 31st, 2005. I'm going to have to work like krazy to meet this goal, but I'll see what I can do. If I'm finished and feel that it's worthy, I want to submit it to this year's Katsucon AMV contest. That's the convention that got me hooked onto watching AMVs, so maybe it will be a good place to start.

    I think this site has the first posts from when I first started blogging. Krazy stuff...
  • The Aftermath 2003-09-22 13:26:58 It's been 5 days since Hurricane Isabella hit. Luckily, there wasn't any damage to our property, and the power didn't even go out. The worse thing that happened was that we lost our cable for 2 days. Some of my friends lost their power for about 4 days. There wasn't any school today because of the storm, even though it has been 5 days since it hit. Luckily, that gives me some more time to get this stupid assignment done and I'll hopefully get a chance to watch VHD: Bloodlust.

    I finally got my cast off my hand last wednesday. Soon I will finally be able to throw around a softball and get some batting practice again. I've started to condition a little for the fall season and i don't have to use my hand much for that.
  • its been a while 2003-09-21 20:26:56 woah its been a while, considering Otakon was over a month ago. Concerning Otakon, it was friggin awesome! 19,000 sq. feet of anime stuff and over 30,000 otakus attending...so great! It's fun getting you picture taken and the cosplay was great. The best part of Otakon though was definetly the TMR concert, it was so sweet!!! He was awesome and our little section started the encore which brought him back on stage and he sung 'Heart of Swords' again and i think he sung another song too, i forget which one ^^;;;

    2 weeks before school started i broke my hand while i was playing softball at a tournament. it's good though, because you know that you're playing with players that are really good and will help make you better too. During that same tournament, we placed second and got medals ^^. Sadly, that was the last tournament we played this season, and winter practices don't start until some time in January. We did get together again for a party and we learned that our pitcher is leaving us, to go play higher level fastpitch softball. Everyone was really really happy for her, but now we have to find another pitcher.

    School started about 3 weeks ago and it was cool to get back and see everyone, but that week before school starts sucks. i had to finish my summer assignments and it felt like it took forever. oh well, im glad thats over. My life is still plagued with homework though, i bet i get more homework than the average junior at my school.
