Day 19 of 'Lost Ones'

Moving into the final stretch of the video. I have only a few sections left to edit, then I get to move into the whole 'double-check' phase, and get my video out to some beta-testers (depending on how much time I have). Need to have everything finalized by next week, and need to pick up an envelope and what-not to get the video ready to send off to Katsu. At least it's the weekend and I have an average amount of homework, so hopefully I'll get things finished up within the next few days. I stuck to my initial plan of editing for 3-5 hrs almost everyday, so I'm psyched about that. I've only written about 19 days in here, but there were days I decided not to write about because I really didn't get all that much accomplished, even though I would sit there for hours trying to do something.
I still love the song I'm using to death. -
Days 16, 17, and 18 of 'Lost Ones'

Shoot, I'm starting to lose track of the days, and I'm slacking on this little record here.
Anyways, these last few production days have been well. Over 3 minutes now with the video, and better have it in time for Katsu. I had a day where I meddled with this one scene forever, and just when I thought I got it to work, I decided I didn't like it. Maybe that shows something. Been working out a lot of kinks, and adding stuff of coures. I'm almost done with both the black, blue, and final ending sequences. Actually, I'm finished with black and the very last one, just need to fix two more spots with the blue. From that point I'll just have a couple short guitar breaks, one 3-second lyric point, and the lip-synching left. I can handle that.
This is getting a little tougher solely because break has already ended and my potential editing time dropped drastically. Luckily, I'm still putting in the 2 to 5 hours a day on it, so it's working out. I just have to make sleep sacrifices, but that's not anything new. Well I'm going to end this so I can go make use of the hours of sleep I have left. - Day 15 of 'Lost Ones' 2005-12-29 23:29:56 Feels like I got alone more done today. I've been skipping around a little bit, but its working out well. I have to end a little earlier than usual since I've got a job interview tomorrow morning, but still, really feels like I accomplished more today. Still need to get done soon, just hope I won't be feeling rushed. I have a feeling it might happen though. Not much else to say, just need to go straighten my hair.

Day 14 of 'Lost Ones'

Geez it feels like forever since I've worked on this AMV even though it's only been like 3 days. It took me a little more time than I had hoped to get back into my groove, but I made some progress today so yeah. I didn't want to have to rush the ending before the deadline, so I skipped ahead so I could get that finished, since I know that will be a harder and more important. I got a solid chunk (by that I mean 20 seconds) of it done today, so that was good. Hopefully I'll get some more done tomorrow.
Argh...getting a headache from being on this computer too long. -
Day 13 of 'Lost Ones'

So I haven't been getting as much done recently, and the fact that I'm leaving tomorrow and won't be home until the 27th doesn't help. I did some more with the second verse, but there is just something about it...
I have a hard part to lip sync, because the footage I'm using is tricky to work with. I'll be figuring that out once I get home though. I still want to get most of this video done by break, I just haven't had one of those days where I constantly work and really get something accomplished in a little while (okay so maybe like three days, but still), so I'm probably going to re-watch the movie to help rekindle my brain. Of course I practically know the footage inside and out, but it's always good to just watch it in its entirity. I'm looking forward to getting to the end of the song. It's going to take the most patience, but if I can get that, it'll seal the deal with the AMV.
