So my amv is going through some big changes. Originally my video was going to have three sources and the video would progress from old skool to modern to futuristic in terms of footage. I worked with the footage to make it look better, and Scintilla helped me a lot with trying to get it that way. Still, it just wasn't working out, and the differences in quality/animation style just clashed too much for my liking. After asking a few other people to make sure this just wasn't some impulsive thing, I decided to drop Dirty Pair Flash from my amv.
Also, I realized that my sources have different aspect ratios. Damn I'm such a n00b for not checking those sort of important things earlier. Because of this, I have to re-rip Kiddy Grade (since it's no longer on my hard drive) and fix my scripts so that I can account for the aspect ratio. Pwolf helped me a ton with figuring out how to handle the different aspect ratios, so everything should look alright in the end.
Dropping Dirty Pair Flash also got me to begin to rethink my original concept. I might be able to do a bit more than I had thought at first. Essentially, I'm starting over with everything, so rethinking concept is good.
Eh I dunno, we'll see. I just have to finish this by June.

I usually don't use this journal unless it relates to something I'm doing with my amv projects or whatnot, but I just read the thread about the VCAs in the forum. I remember reading part of it when it first happened, but for some random reason I decided to go check it out again. Ahhh funny stuff. The thing about the three amv cliques was interesting, makes me think about what I do. Hmmm I use IRC, I post on the forums, aaaand I use this journal, though I don't really talk to anyone through it. I guess that makes me well-rounded, or involved XD haha This is such a ghey entry but whatever. Anyways, I like this whole .org community, and the fact that it is big enough to have seperate cliques is rather impressive XD.
Side note, I have gotten some really helpful ops on 'Lost Ones'. I really want to get going again with this next video too. Obviously it's not going to ACEN. I have been so pressed for time recently it's ricockulous. I just want to farking edit. Oh well, back to the homework. Holla back.
